I did when I wrote it, page 36 states that you cant make melee and ranged attacks "in the same combat action" which means they can make impact attacks as these happen in the movement

Welp silly me ... I thought the rules forum might actually provide more clarity but turns out that since they axed the infernals there is zero clarity there as to final rulings.

Not everything needs a ruling. If its in the rule book like this is then thats enough to know how it works

Not everything needs a ruling. If its in the rule book like this is then thats enough to know how it works Except that CygnarGuy's post from the book 'Gunfighter does not allow a model to make melee and ranged attacks during the same activation.' only says activation not combat action which counteracts the other book reference you provided. Thus wouldn't an official ruling be required here, or am i getting hung up on an unintentional mismatch of wording where one was supposed to directly work with the other but then got mixed up in final edit?

I asked in the rules forum a couple of months ago while researching the article, the only replies conformed the rules book and infernals only answer threads that haven't gotten a correct answer. At the moment thats as good as it gets
