Why Xekaar instead of Morgul 2 or 3?

Purely for the beast points so he can run a bigger battlegroup. I think Morghoul2 runs it better, and I have a list for him as well that has croak raiders and a battlegroup with just a Wrastler and Blindwalker. This is more of a fun idea with Xekaar, though I think he benefits slightly more from having everything pushed inward.
I just really like the idea of multiple units with Ambush. The paingivers are amazing with it, and I think being able to bring 18 models in from the edge has value all on its own.

As predicted, Xekaar was garbage. In actual play, it's super duper helpful to have a warlock that can end the game like Morghoul2 when you are forcing your opponent into the middle. Here is a better list:
War Room Army
Skorne - Morghoul2 - Ambush! v3
Theme: Disciples of Agony 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Lord Assassin Morghoul - WB: +29 - Archidon - PC: 10 (Battlegroup Points Used: 10) - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Swamp Horror - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 3)
Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 0 Paingiver Bloodrunner Master Tormentor - PC: 0 Paingiver Task Master - PC: 0 Gremlin Swarm - PC: 3
Bog Trog Ambushers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 8 Bog Trog Ambushers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 8 Croak Raiders - Leader & 9 Grunts: 16 Paingiver Bloodrunners - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9 Paingiver Bloodrunners - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9 Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Farrow Bone Grinders - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5

I have been having surprising success with it, even against lists I wasn't sure about. It's a monster on scenario.

If you really want to max out the ambushing, change the Gremlin Swarm to a Gatorman Husk - plus if he gets on your opponent's flag somehow, any solo they try to capture the flag with is taking a chance on dying as they kill him.

The Moghoul2 list continues to impress. It has game into a wide variety of list archetypes, and really rewards repeated practice. Morghoul2 himself is something of a dark horse, and people are often surprised at what he can accomplish with flashing blade. Most people are not used to dealing with ambush, and I would say virtually no one is used to dealing with the amount of ambush this list brings. This quickly puts people on their back foot and it cause cause a lot of errors if they don't take time to think, and if they do then it eats significantly into their clock. The more practice I put in, the more advantage I have. The threats to my list and warlock are often fairly linear compared to the craziness of having 18 models come in from the sides, so the more I refine my own strategy the better it gets.
I am going to start testing a bog trog trawler in place of the Gremlin Swarm, the option to ambush in a solo to suddenly score a flag seems very good, though the Gremlin Swarm has been very high value. If an opposing list does not have a good answer to it the Swarm will shut down scenario pretty hard for the enemy, which is great for me.
I find going first to be incredible for this list, but going second isn't too bad either. If I go first, I can seriously pressure my opponent with a turn 2 ambush, AD Croak raiders and bloodrunners, and an aggressively placed Morghoul2. If I go second, my opponent can spread out more turn 1, but I can score first and the potential threat from the Croak Raiders keeps most things from moving up too aggressively.
It's a fantastically fun list, is what I'm saying.
