Hey guys!
on this link is the kickstarter for the best skirmish game ever (in my opinion of course), which is coming back on the gaming mats.
great minis, great rules, great background and artwork.
enjoy ^^

You know, I bought a whole bunch of Confrontation while it was still a thing, never played it, and ended up throwing it away. Great looking miniatures, but they made the mistake of going prepainted at some point (didn't sit well with the community at the time).
I'm glad they're making a comeback! I'll have to consider backing them- that's a lot of stuff, but 300+ dollars isn't a small commitment.

It could be nice to see this game make another appearance. I still have two armies from back on the day and I really enjoyed the rules. The alternating movements and activation bid system made planning really deep. The wound system could get a little record intensive, but was another factor of strategy. Really miss this game.

The ruleset was a mess.
Still have the books, I played Devourers for a while. Game flopped and died and I eventually made my way to Warmachine.

i backed it, but then pulled out.
370 for 250 minis, gorgeous at that. plus 6 pieces of terrain. i really wanted to.
then i thought about all the wm/h minis i dont have time to play with. and all the KDM stuff i have not put together. and 7th continent. and Gloomheaven.
i hate that there isnt enough time in the day...
also, november 2019?? a year and a half? probably closer to 2 years?
meh.
after what happened with greater than games, sentinels of the multiverse taking 2 years to get to our doorstep, well, in june maybe, and me not caring about it any more. itll probably sit, still wrapped, for a very long time.
so, thatll probably happen with these when they get here. if not something else will have my attention. that 2 year lead time is killer.

Props for gloomhaven. After our d&d group got bored we swapped to that and they are digging it.

I gave it a close look, and am probably backing it (but I really can't understand how the heck they figured these stretch goals are unlocked?). I wish I could understand which rulebook to start getting familiar with (I guess there's a 3.0 and 3.5 rulebook, and some use one, some use the other?). What a mess.
The long lead-time doesn't bother me- I can only hope I'll have time by the time the stuff arrives, haha!

Yeah, I don't understand the reason part either. Apparently all the resin add-ons aren't really... like, playable? They're the wrong scale to put on the table?
It's a bizarre one, for sure.
