Which means you are really good and I'm super jealous. Just so you don't get the wrong idea, it took many many tries to get the hair that way! Luckily it's not too hard to pull greenstuff off models. To the best of my recollection, these next two are the first PP models I ever bought. I didn't know what Warmachine was back then, I was ordering some models and threw in these two just because I thought they looked cool. These two have only minor changes. First off, Kell Bailoch. I made a couple of simple modifications to his rifle to make it look a bit more modern (I styled it after the L42A1). I also left off his sword because it didn't fit the image I had for him: a frontier/outback scout/marksman. Then there's Laddermore. It's subtle, but I twisted her waist slightly and raised her arm to make the pose look more dynamic, as though she's rearing up to deliver a blow. I also replaced her helmeted head with a bare one, and tried to sculpt hair to match her unmounted model. I didn't like the original lance as it seemed too short and poorly balanced, so I constructed a new one for her. While more traditional, I did incorporate parts from the original. I also "attached" a sword to her belt on her left side, but I didn't actually glue it on to make painting easier. I just hope I haven't lost it... To my knowledge when a knight loses his horse he usually discards his lance and draws his sword. So I modified her unmounted model to be drawing her sword. I tried to match her armour as best I could when sculpting in missing pieces, and I tried to add something approximating electrical coils to the sword blade.

Awesome stuff Soul!
I remember the first time I saw that nyss head swap with those gw heads, as if by some divine influence a box of that particular gw elf thingy was on sale while I was browsing (think I paid like 10 euro for the box) so I bought it and thus the nyss were the first full pp unit I owned...
I love your hair greenstuff work the most I think (not that it isn't all impressive, I just really like your hair work). If you don't get around to painting, you can do what I do nowadays and just white primer and then a wash to pop the details and call it a day. Someday I'll start painting again...

Funnily enough the Nyss were the second PP unit I owned; my first was Khador's mechanics. I was running 5 jacks... in MkII. Victory was a rare treat indeed. And as far as I was concerned the Prime Axiom was the most broken piece of OP nonsense ever... other than Hordes. While I'm happy with my greenstuff work overall, it's always been my LEDs that I'm most proud of. As far as I can tell I'm the only person who can squeeze an LED into a normal 30mm PP base. It's a lot of work though, so I don't do it too often anymore. But here's one figure still waiting to be painted, and he's on an even smaller GW 25mm base (although it's a couple of mm higher though):

No comments about the Space Marine even with the glowing spear and delicate filigree work painstaking made from thin copper wire? Tough crowd. Alright, back to PP then. Here's Warwick Davis standing on his pot of gold coins:

I can definitely see the resemblance... and the glowing lance is super cool.

That reinholt is hilarious btw.

I tend to be quite particular about weapons, so I often perform minor modifications to make a mini's weapons look better to my eyes. Here's a few examples: I didn't like Rutger's original blade, and I believe the card calls it a "mechanikal sword" so... I just didn't think Versh's oversized sword fit his character as I envisioned it, so I gave him one with more reasonable proportions: With apologies, whoever sculpted Alten's rifle stock has clearly never even seen a rifle being shouldered in his entire life, so I tried to make it a bit less stupid, taking off the exaggerated "blunderbuss" flared barrel end (purely as a matter of taste) and giving him an actual front sight while I was at it: I also replaced his sword with something that looked a bit more like a hunting knife/machete, as I figured it fit his aesthetic better: I reprofiled Murdoch's knife to look like something you could actually stab with, pinned his gun barrel and bulked it up a bit (the original piece was delicate and vulnerable to damage; I think it actually arrived bent), flipping it around and sculpting a front sight on top while I was at it:

Its been almost two whole days, get back to work lazy Soul! (I am now your motivator, I can probably be bribed to look the other way with hair sculpting tutorials).
I think your LED basing is really cool, I can appreciate how much work the LED weapons are and stuff but it just isn't my taste (I love metallics too much to want them overshadowed by shiny lights. Also I didn't get gatewayed via warhammer so power weapons feel a bit silly to me). How much would one such base cost to build/operate on average from your experience? I might consider doing it for warcasters if I ever get started up again (I ordered a box with toys to build and convert but its already undergone almost a month of delays...).
Your greenstuff work is spot on, I might not always agree with your stylistic choices but that doesn't diminish the fact that they look uniquer and that it is well done. The rifle stock I would have done some texturing on, but you can get the effect you want with some clever painting (hint hint nudge nudge).

Its been almost two whole days, get back to work lazy Soul! (I am now your motivator, I can probably be bribed to look the other way with hair sculpting tutorials). I'm starting the think the reason why I'm not so motivated is because there's other areas of my life that I need to put more effort into, so until I'm happy with them I just can't see painting toys as a priority anymore. Still, I'm making a bit of (very slow) progress; I've been working on replacing the claws on a Knight Models Wolvering figure this week (because the original claws are made of wet tissue paper and bend when you look at them funny). As far as sculpting hair goes, I was working directly off other tutorials myself. The only useful thing I could say is that even my finest sculpting tool is too broad for this work so I used a really small bladed hobby knife for the detail - an X-acto X3209 to be precise: I think your LED basing is really cool, I can appreciate how much work the LED weapons are and stuff but it just isn't my taste (I love metallics too much to want them overshadowed by shiny lights. It doesn't cost much money to do a single base, but it does take a long time the way I do it. I've actually written a tutorial on how I do it. There's much easier ways, but you have to build up a bigger base. Your greenstuff work is spot on, I might not always agree with your stylistic choices but that doesn't diminish the fact that they look uniquer and that it is well done. The rifle stock I would have done some texturing on, but you can get the effect you want with some clever painting (hint hint nudge nudge). Thank you. Yes, I leave the wood texture for the painting stage (should that ever happen). Speaking of stylistic choices, here's a Paladin I put together ages ago. I didn't like the helmet so I gave him a simpler one. The original sword handle was really only big enough for a one-handed hold; this bothered me enough that I decided to replace it. I also reshaped the sword tip to a more traditional shape, and extended the decorative filigree along the whole flat surface using thin copper wire. I'm still debating sculpting Morrowan symbols over the Menofixes and using him as a gender-swapped Constance (would his name be Constant? Or maybe Constantine?), but I haven't yet decided between that or a weapon-swap on Daniera Madise.

Constantine Blaze sounds awesome, Actually. Definitely needs more wind-whipped banners if that's the route you want to go, though.

Oh, the Paladin's cloak is plenty wind-whipped, I just left it off for painting (I was a more naieve and optimistic young hobbyist back then...). Question would be whether to give him Constance's shield or to modify his own.

I think Constance's shield is more iconic to her character and would show this model is a conversion of her a bit more than the paladin shield would.

I agree, and if I was a more active gamer that would be more important for me. But sadly I don't get to play very much these days, and I bought the Paladin because I liked the model, so ultimately my priority is picking the one that makes the model look better overall. I might even forgo IK iconography and slap my own "Sentinels Eternal" logo on him.
