Has anyone tried Kaya3 out with Woldwyrd spam?
Seems like kind of a bad match, since two of her strongest abilities (Synergy and Soothing) don't work with wolds... but Reposition(3) on all of your Woldwyrds seems pretty awesome. The difference between being 10" from the enemy at the end of your turn and 13" is huge.
You could even go Bones of Orboros with it if you wanted, for free heals and extended deployment. I'm a bit unconvinced by that part, but it's not terrible.

I haven't spammed them, but I have been using two of them with her pretty consistently. I started off with 2 Wold Wyrds and 3 Purebloods but I've cut one of the Purebloods to bring a Feral back.
Repo has been great for the Purebloods but I haven't found it as much use with the Wyrd's. Most of the targets I want them to go after, well, they either remove it or the opponent can still get them at 13" away.

Why a gorax?
I think taking a couple is fine but they really lose efficiency once you take more than 2. Pow 12's are cool and all but you won't be cracking Arm and you'll get jammed easy.
I think take 2, use purebloods, and run a really mobile gunline that can smash face with synergy.
Something like: Kaya 2 Purebloods 2 Gorax Argus 2 Wyrds 2 Scarsfells Shifting Stones. 2 X Sentry Stone
That's a lot of really good shooting and it hits like a truck if you need it to. Against guns you can be (on Feat Turn) Def 17 on the Wyrds, 18 on the pureblood and argus, and 19 on the Scarsfells. While being 13" away with all your shooting.

Kaya3 Bones gunline:
War Room Army
Circle Orboros - Kaya3 wyrds
Theme: The Bones of Orboros 3 / 3 Free Cards 74 / 75 Army
Kaya the Wildheart - WB: +27 - Druid Wilder - PC: 0 - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 - Woldwyrd - PC: 9 - Woldwyrd - PC: 9
Celestial Fulcrum - PC: 19 Celestial Fulcrum - PC: 19
Blackclad Stoneshaper - PC: 3 Blackclad Stoneshaper - PC: 0 Blackclad Stoneshaper - PC: 0
Shifting Stones - Leader & 2 Grunts: 3 Shifting Stones - Leader & 2 Grunts: 3
THEME: The Bones of Orboros ---
Shifting stones for healing/serenity, fulcrums for fury management, more shooting, and to hide Kaya. The boring part is Kaya just provides repo3, fog of war, and her feat. Wilder is mostly to extend the control range. Seems boring but potentially really powerful?

I would lean towards the wild hunt myself. Reeves help support a good gunline build and they love fog of war. Ambush helps push your opponent to the center of the board for good spray opportunities and the purebloods can assault using hunter through forests. Synergy will provide the armor cracking when its required. conflictchamber.com/#c8201b_-0qgUee4B4M4M4H4H5j5j5j4S5s5f4T4WCircle Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] The Wild Hunt (Kaya 3) Kaya the Wildheart [+27] - Argus Moonhound [6] - Gorax Rager [7] - Pureblood Warpwolf [17] - Pureblood Warpwolf [17] - Woldwyrd [9] - Woldwyrd [9] War Wolf [2] War Wolf [2] War Wolf [2] Reeves of Orboros (max) [16] - Reeve of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [0(4)] Shifting Stones [3] Wolves of Orboros (min) [7] - Wolves of Orboros Chieftain & Standard [4] Would heavily consider dropping the wyrds for another pureblood.

Whoops, didn't realise primal was living warbeasts only (its my first day).
Does Synergy apply to gunfighter attacks? Or are they ranged attacks still?

Does Synergy apply to gunfighter attacks? Or are they ranged attacks still? Gunfighter is overwritten but basically allows models that are engaged to make ranged attacks. It does not change ranged attacks into melee attacks. That rule is called Point Blank.

streetpizza, Actually I would argue that 2 wyrds helps complete a well balanced gun line (tm) you lose the melee hitting power in exchange for a little more mobility, threat, and volume of attacks. Wyrds discourage offensive and defensive upkeeps and pureblood just add on the the defensive buff hate. If you take out the wyrds then I think you are better off taking 2 lights to replace for synergy and target saturation.

Well a new contruct light is incoming, perhaps it'll give the tools needed?
Meanwhile, I'm not a fan of Kaya3 without free points to make up the difference between theme/non-theme... When we are able to buy the BG and get the support solos (Wayfarers? Wilder?) I think we'll be in business.

Then you are better playng Una2... which is the issue I and many other players have with Kaya in the first place. I guess you could replace with a stalker or feral. Stalkers with Tracker are pretty darn good.

Problems with Kaya3 are: 1)spell-list is all over the place 2)Una2 obsoleted her 3)we lack a proper battlegroup theme with living things
Feat is good, field marshal is good... the remaining parts of her card meh...

I think Una2 is great but too narrow a concept and an I'm kinda counting on never getting a(nother) decent Griffon because of her. I think Kaya3 is great but once again all about living beasts in a faction divided in 2. Field Marshall is great for ranged. SPD 7 is really irritating and is making Laris a vannila mount. The 2pt dog has crit KD but a big bad magical wolf has nothing on its attack and is SPD 7?
I dislike both of them together as they do the same (tune up lights) especially when they got released back to back...

PP tried to make up for the incapability of circle to crack armour... in the only meningfull way, considering how bad beast costs fare to jacks costs: leveraging lights.
