Hey all. Putting together Aiayna and Holt. How on earth (or Caen) are you getting Holt's arms to stay in place? I have washed the model (hot water and dishsoap) and using Loctite gel glue. Works on every other model I have (including Thyra) but I cannot get his arms to stay in place no matter how long I hold them after gluing. Advice?

Put a tiny piece of napkin between the two layers being glued. Helps me sometimes

I was thinking a small dot of green stuff but hate having to carve the excess out and having the arm pop off.

That should work. If it doesn't, arrange some books or bits to hold the guns at the right angle until the glue fries totally?

You can also use that shit that causes glue to cure instantaneously. But if you get clue on your hand and that shot on your hand too it causes an exothermic reaction and you can burn yourself.
You know the shit I'm talking about?

I use the tie wire that comes in garbage bag ties to hold tiny things like arms in place when I glue them.
Or you can always pin his arms?

some people do a small bit of green stuff others "score" the metal. I bought a small pinvice and a size 58 bit(paperclip sized) and pinned mine as i do with all metal parts.

I pin most everything, especially on metal. Alternatively as Smoth said you can sometimes get a better fit (and larger contact area) by just putting a teeny tiny piece of green stuff in there when you push the joint together.

I've had people suggest to me that the " helping hands" used for soldering can be a great help. It was suggested when I mentioned that I hadn't gotten in to Infinity because of my unsteady hands and huge fingers. I haven't gotten one yet to try it, but the theory is quite sound.
