So I’ve been looking at Lukas, and I was trying to think of a way to get rid of the downfall of juicer (or minimize it as much as possible. Has anyone tried using LYNUS and EDREA with Doctor Morley? I mean, they heal minimum 4 health between the two heals, which means Lukas can sit at four juicer tokens without any chance of sitting on damage, five with minimal risk and six if average dice are your friends (they aren’t for me so I used five for my calculations). So sitting at five you can pretty much heal back the damage every turn, meaning that Lukas has a constant 10 focus, then on feat you push him to 8 tokens before featung. Now you have 21 focus for feat turn and have a focus stat of 13!!! Then you use Alyce to remove enough tokens from Lucas that he starts actually healing damage. Is this all common knowledge? And if so, why are people not more excited / upset about this?

You might want to reread Lukas. He gains 1 focus for each Juice token he takes that turn, up to a max of 3. His focus stat will never be higher than 8.
If you push him to 8 on the feat turn, then he'll have 16 Focus to play with.
EDIT: Also, if you check battle reports and discussion on the CID forums, you'll see that the current complaint is that Morely and L&E are considered a bit of a necessity with him to manage all that damage. Ideally, we'd see a shift away from them being auto-includes with a slightly less damaging version of Juicer, but time will tell. I hope we see a final version that takes less damage overall.

So battle college did have it slightly different wording. According to the CID you only gain focus from the tokens placed “this turn”. So yeah, it wouldn’t carry over... darn, was thinking Lukas was gonna be a BOSS! Turns out he’s just alright, which I guess ain’t bad!

That spell list though. I'll take Alyce/Morely/L&E if it means getting that sweet, sweet spell list.

He is a bit like Vayl 2, he is gonna have 8 FOCUS to work with each turn, and then on feat turn he will likely get an extra 8/9, which is roughly the equivalent of Vayl casting all her spells for free.

In the case of CG, it is very easy to be out of date with something in the middle of CiD.

It's not like Battle College puts a giant disclaimer at the top of every page that is in CID, or anything...
