"Artificer General Nemo: We felt Nemo could stay too safe when applying his feat to the opposing army. Requiring enemy models to be in his control area to apply his additional damage dice not only restricts the area the feat can affect but also helps expose him while using this very powerful ability.
Eye of the Storm. Change the first sentence of Eye of the Storm to the following:
When a friendly Faction model makes an electrical damage roll XICONX against an enemy model in Nemo’s control range, add an additional die to the damage roll.
Immunity: Electricity: The amount of rules and abilities that could be ignored or circumvented by attacking your own models with Electro-leap or Storm Generator attacks was simply too much. We would like players to interact with opposing models how they were intended to.
Add the following to Immunity: Electricity:
Lightning cannot arc from a model with Immunity: Electricity."

16 inches control area is still decent enough. No spark nodes hurts a lot, it hurts SD too and that really didn't need any nerfs. I guess you could still marshall a sentinel to a JR and use that a as a spark node? ARM20 is enough to withstand a few blows.

Pathfinder is valuable on a node, charge+reposition is the same distance as a run and it still gets its normal output. Stalling everything is extra useful in cygnar to let you shoot into melee. Even after it's been fried to hell and left hanging out in the wind it still can't be entirely ignored because of the stall freestrike threat.

Using up your Merc slot for Meg rather than Ragman is sad times

Solid. Should have been like that from the start in both cases.

I'm curious, how many of you prefer the blanket +4 ARM immunity change over this targeted one? I personally still prefer the blanket one.

It makes sense, electricity seeks the path of least resistance, and immunity can be conceptualized as being grounded, so the lightning just grounds out instead of leaping out. It does hurt us, but it makes it a hell of a lot more fair.

I just want to say I'm impressed by how well everyone is taking this.

Makes sense, both of them. I hope that this puts an end to both Nemo3 and Electro-Leap whines, but my experience suggest me that it would be optimistic to think so.
The only issue I have with this change is that makes SD even less appealing. Now that "All models gain electrical immunity" not only occupies a bonus slot while doing nothing useful (almost all models already have immunity in that list), but also becomes a negative in the sense that I can't put in one of the few models that aren't immune just to function as sparknode.
I would really like to see that benefit being changed for something useful, maybe for Stormguard.
