Hey Druids!
I'm looking for input on this pairing. I know it's unusual, but I just like the weird stuff, and I'm ok with losing with reasonble frequency. I don't like playing lists that functionally have very little chance of winning so...
Mohsar is an assassination list with some attrition. The druids can deliver him for the bark if the time is ripe, and the list has enough shooting to pose a real threat. Brun and lug protect Mohsar from shooting via sac pawn, transfers, etc. He has a decent attrition game with pillars for defense and curse for offense, good infantry clearing with wayfarer sprays and crevasse and geomancy (woldwyrd's do some work here too). Lug will do some armor cracking with curse of shadows, as will enraged woldwardens. Decent survivability with generally high armor and hitboxes. Has plenty of magical weapons and RFP for those annoying cryx matches.
Kromac is my "oh shit magic" list, to make it easier for me to play into annoying assassination casters like denny1, haley2, and any number of other problematic spellcasters. Again more of a balanced list, plenty of muscle with 4 heavies, enrage, and wild aggression, decent infantry clearning with geomanced rifts and woldwyrds (also nice for triggering warpath), and sentry stones are good all rounders. Gallows groves for rifts or to deny tough. The goal is to use hunters mark and warpath to outmaneuver my opponent and deliver my heavy hitters while denying them important spell resources.
I don't get to play much, and my main opponent is cygnar. As cool as it would be to tech only for cygnar (hello K2!) and I do that sometimes, it's more interesting to use a range of casters instead of just 1.
Is this a reasonably balanced list pair? What would be impossible to play into? Given my stated gameplans, is there anything obvious you can see that would help me succeed better?
