Darn it man you made me buy vinny...and now all my hate for the interdiction theme is feeling unwarranted! Why did you have to go and make this theme seem too good! I have been trying it with testament and just...ugh...recursion is so stupidly strong in some match ups and then others it just does nothing thanks to RFP or soul denial ALA eleaps. I have the following vinny list I will be running once I actually paint my menites Vinny: Guardian Sanctifier Errants Max Cinerators Max X2 Knights E with UA X2 Knights E Sennys X2 Errant Senny Its not as fast as your list and I'm tempted to replace the errant senny with a min chior but the prospect of Def 14 Arm 20 errants that can run up and engage pretty quickly seems just great as a screen (extra bodies an WM attacks are helpful too.) I cant afford vengers right now but maybey this summer I will shamelessly copy your list. Do you still think the interdiction theme needs a different theme benefit to replace blessed? Or do you think its good as is?

Too much man talk, not enough wurm talk here. I played vs a list like this a while ago and man do I love mannikins sprays and killing spree bloodweavers. I finally got to flex that circle infantry grinding machine. It was close but it was a good day to put man back in his place.
Mohsar shakes his salty head in disapproval Mac.

Curses I have revealed myself I will say this, I think Mohsar could have some game into that List. There's no guns so Pillars really gum up the Calvary and Mohsar loves killing infantry Now in gonna have to play Mohsar tonight so he doesn't feel neglected haha

You talk about Cygnar, I worry more with Circle. You can trade your Sentries for a turn but then you're in the wind again. Scores of fast, hard hitting troops and hard for Circle. SR2017 will knock Baldur1 down a peg as the Feat is not as costly CP wise as before.

Or do you think its good as is? While I think this is fine, and will be very strong, I can't agree to anything other than double Vengers with him right now. The sheer ridiculousness of the threat ranges will make some opponents just screw up and give you the game even harder than you probably already have it. If I was specifically building my list to fight Ghost Fleet under Deneghra 1, I'd probably put Errants in, but as it stands I don't think I want them. But yeah, Vindictus is awesome in theme, double Vengers are where it's at, but even the "budget" builds will be very strong.

Thing is...Mannikin sprays don't worry Vengers all that much, and Bloodweavers don't outthreat Vengers either. Hard to make work, but Mohsar is probably best into it.

My only answer is Mohsar in bones with a ton of Wyrds and a Fulcrum, and that list might just not work into whatever the Vindictus pair is. Definitely rough. I would expect this list to see some serious tournament play and have success - in fact I'm probably playing Protectorate at an event tomorrow just to play this list.

The guy I played didn't use vengers so no idea, but it seems like a waste if a 20 point model is spending time on my 5 point or 8 point squad (unless I'm dense and bunch them up so they can smash all of em in one go). I see your point though and I'd like to try playing vs it. I'd probably just throw bloodweavers at them so they can't charge. I'm on a tanith kick so I'll have to see how that goes. Thanks for the traitorous battle reports though.

Thanks for the traitorous battle reports though. It really depends on who goes first tbh. It's pretty trivial to put Defenders Ward up on a unit of Vengers, keep them out of Woldwyrd range, and only let your Mannikins get into them. If you advance at all at that point, you're getting charged by them, which isn't exactly what Circle likes to have happen turn 2. AHHHH CIRCLE CONTENT!!! This week I'll be going through and looking at each Warlock, Warbeast, Unit, and Solo and ranking them in terms of their usefulness/power level/place in the meta (at least in my opinion). This is mainly a way for me to organize my thoughts on the subject in preparation for any future CID testing that might happen, and also to engage the community and get some discussion going. I started off with our Warlocks, which took a lot longer than I expected because we have a lot more than it seems like we do... druidsdice.blogspot.com/2017/05/state-of-faction-15-circle-warlocks.html

Oh mannn goatvhna is at least a 2. I mean who else can drive by hellmouth? Ha ha. Seeing all that written out really does drive home the problems we have as a faction like you said. Poor poor morvhanas, I think you're 5 stars..

I liked the insight. Good job keeping each entry succinct but still informational.
Just makes me want to hammer together a solid Tanith-Kromac1 pair. I figure since Tanith can be built for anything, she should be able to cover Kromac's weak spots. I figure she goes all-in on ranged, Kromac takes a beast brick with sentry stones and a couple wyrds to proc warpath. Ghetorix+ wayfarer + warpath can get one axe attack like 21" from where he started.
I'm getting excited just thinking about a viable Kromac1...
