Thank you for the Honest write up. Its shame you had such a rough time. Don't feel bad about tilting having to constantly correct an opponent. Ive had that happen a lot and trust me its exhausting. I actually had a 50 point game against a brand new player playing cygnar and it literally lasted 6 hours. yeah. Its good to try and help players have a good time. I would encourage you to keep trying to be a positive opponent even when things get dicey. The second game was mostly your opponents issue. Clock is one of those things that can get tense especially when it gets into areas of having to pass back and forth for countercharge during one turn. Ive had an opponent force pass clock over to me for every tough check once and it was incredibly obnoxious. Ive never been to big event like that but I know its a different environment. Just know that I think if I was in your shoes I would have made similar decisions. Hope you don't get too beat up about this. We all have rough days! Your content is awesome and incredibly helpful! Keep up the good work!

Don't worry. Tournaments are like that, you have to find your balance. Calling a judge won't solve all your isues, you have to know that.
- No moving another players' model is good form but it happens all the time for various reasons. It's a very minor faux pas, certainly bellow running 2" extra inches. As you said, be aware and don't do it.
- Time is a rough problem. If you want clean play on your part never, never, never change your opponent's time and don't pause if it's not your turn. You can warn them when they Forget to clock over to you, or not, but be aware that will lead to only you forgetting if they don't return the favor.
You can have friendly competitive games and you can have competitive friendly games (The best IMO.) but they are not the same.

Cool report as usual! I have a question, why do you clear wurm tokens starting Turn 1? Thanks to megaliths bond I normally can keep only a couple damage on Baldur due to tokens through Turn 4. Once Turn 4 comes I normally want the tokens so Baldur can scrap something unless I'm about to get assasinated or put my opponents back against the wall.
I've only had tokens get me once and that was Turn 5 could've used the extra 5 health but I also probably should've camped 6 (Makeda cat dash) Ive played a lot with Baldur 2 and keeping tokens has normally worked more than clearing them.

I tend to play very cautiously, and this game I didn't feel like Baldur ever needed to do any work. I could easily clear 2 heavies a turn with my models and then rock wall up and keep a shield guard near Baldur to prevent the Cannon from KDing him if I didn't get Roots there. I'm also trying to ingrain the habit of paying attention to the tokens, and purifying them is the only active decision to make when you're getting that muscle memory in. I'm sure there will be matchups where I don't purify them off.

Do you think the two units of Reeves are worth it?

Do you think the two units of Reeves are worth it? I'm honestly not sure yet. I have really enjoyed having both, one on each flank lets you kill a LOT of stuff. More testing is required.

It's been a long time! I'm sorry I got stranded in Utah after taking a weekend to learn how to play Infinity and get ROYALLY trashed at a tournament in Salt Lake. I did manage to get in a game today though with my silly Tanith theme list - read on to hear all about it, and to get some bonus content about Warmachine Fight Club... druidsdice.blogspot.com/2017/04/battle-report-82-tanith-feral-song-wild_11.html

Ouch! Ranged assasinations are pretty sucktastic to have to prevent Fo you think other than holding extra Transfers that there was anything else you could've done to deter the assasination? I've found myself (normally with Baldur 2) in situations where I typically corner my opponent and gain unshoftable board and scenario control bit then they pull off some janky assasinations my current strategy is Camp 6 and cross fingers once that happens but I've found that a good opponent can pull the weirdest angles in getting to and killing your caster and dice tend to favor the bold!

Basically camp another Fury to be honest. There were very few things I could have done other than that. Alright, here are the battle reports from the Spokane Team Championship, where I proudly captained Team Mom Round 1: Tanith (The Wild Hunt) vs. Vlad 1 (Winter Guard Kommand) druidsdice.blogspot.com/2017/04/battle-report-86-spokane-team.htmlRound 2: Baldur 2 (Bones of Orboros) vs. Kaya 3 druidsdice.blogspot.com/2017/04/battle-report-87-spokane-team.htmlRound 3: Baldur 2 (Bones of Orboros) vs. Thyra druidsdice.blogspot.com/2017/04/battle-report-88-spokane-team.htmlEnjoy!

Congrats! Baldur2 in team formats sounds a lot better than in a solo event.
