You forgot that dash also gives parry while in her control. So under feat you can reposition your champs base to base and not worry about a free strike as you shuffle. OR dig in deeper and not worry about the front line.

I've been usinng her in Kriel Co. and i have found that burrowers and highwaymen really like her. being able to get highwaymen to walk into backstrike (parry from dash) and having diggers able to also walk into the back to get their +2 rat helps to correct what they are each missing. I typically play this without snipe, and instead use ice troll (for swit hunter and the sprays) and a glacier king for def 17 vs shooting (13+deflection + concealment). So far a fun list.

To be clear, you mean Grissel's sprays and her ability to dance around with Swift Hunter as long as she kills at least one model with each, right? Because the Ice Troll does not have a spray, that's the Winter Troll. It's not just back strikes, though. If your Sluggers are jammed they can just walk away and shoot. During her feat turn, your guys can aim, shoot and then repo away. She can knock down high-DEF targets for low-RAT Dygmies and throw hazards in front of the Raiders so they don't get charged by low-ARM infantry. And she can function well enough with a ranged-only BG. She really is surprisingly good in Kriel Company too.

When I wrote this a few months back, I was less convinced by Kriel Company than I am now. While there is synergy between Highwaymen, sluggers etc and Dash on her spell list, I'm still not convinced it overcomes their shortcomings or actually makes them any good. I don't for instance feel that a plan or taking Highwaymen to walk into a back arc and get boosted attack rolls is anything other than gimmicky. I don't feel its something that works consistently against good players, especially considering you have to get Braylen into the right place.
Unjamming Sluggers seems nice, but I'd rather take a war wagon or 2 and then concentrate on things that crack armour.
If anyone did find this one useful I had initially intended to more Tacticas, but it had a luke warm response so I decided it wasn't really what people want. I'd be happy to look at Doomy3, Kolgrima, Madrak1, Grim1 and Borka2 if anyone feels they would be useful.

Please do more! I had figured out a lot of it, but didn't necessarily have it worked out verbally, and it was very valuable to see it written out.

I would love some more tacticas!
You should talk to Charlescharmichael about adding content to LoS wargaming and helping create a nice database of tacticas and stuff for players.

I'm looking to play her in 25pt games against friends who are fairly new. I just can't find a list I'm crazy about at such a low point game. I haven't had more than a couple of games with her so I'm not very experienced with her yet. Anyone have any suggestions? Themes are allowed and i have the models to play any one. And is she too much to handle for newer players?

Against people in the game for at least a year my, "It would be funny to play G2 in PoD with a glacier king" list is now... 7 and 0? All assassinations, a good fraction of them on top of two, with a decent scenario lead, even. I usually let them move their caster back and retry if I can make the top of two kill without moving too many models. Then I frequently assassinate top of three! Hell, once I let my buddy move his warlock after I top of twoed him, he moved it a different way than I suggested, so I did it again in a different way. She is ducking brutal, and even more so when there are fewer models in the table to block line of sight.

I agree with mazog. Play Grissel2 against players you want to un-friend
Grim2 had been my MK2 pop&drop warlock-assassin of choice (Burrowers). MK3 Grissel2 stole that crown with her (ridiculous) 3x KD shots (though my Burrowers are not oft fielded).
One of my more stupid lists is with G2/double Bombers/double Slags, etc., as a challenge to see if I can mow more Slayers down then can get to me...

I know this is going back awhile but she has Deflection (+2 Def), not Deceleration (+2 Arm) which you consistently called it (as did several replies to you).

Thank you for the spot, most helpful and now corrected.

So with Grissel2 in ADR and a champions event coming up at the end of the year, I'm thinking of pairing this with my Borka2 POD list:
Grissel2 - Runebearer - Glacier King - Basher Max Stone + Northkin Elder Hooch Hauler Bears Bears Max Lookouts Fell Caller Hero Valka

Both are similar to Banky's; the Borka 2 because I copied and adapted and the Grissel 2 by coincidence, as SOTN lists with the same caster do tend to be.
