I generally keep my Wayfarer behind, then on feat turn if he ended last turn in a shifting stone area, port him behind enemy lines, pop hunters mark...and KIIIIILLL...then my dice act like they are having an affair with my opponent My dice are similar. But they always tease me in the meanest of ways. EG: last game I had a reckoner miss a boosted 7 at a hallowmen, then Villmon rolled 6,6,6,5 charging a cage rager. The dice gods are cruel bastards

Tonight I ran a list from a Facebook post.
War Room Army
Circle Orboros - Baldur1 Hunts
Theme: The Wild Hunt 0 / 0 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Baldur the Stonecleaver - WB: +31 - Megalith - PC: 20 (Battlegroup Points Used: 20) - Gorax Rager - PC: 7 (Battlegroup Points Used: 7) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 4) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19 - Rip Horn Satyr - PC: 14
Hutchuk, Ogrun Bounty Hunter - PC: 6 Gallows Grove - PC: 2
Warpborn Skinwalkers - Leader & 4 Grunts: 15 - Warpborn Skinwalker Alpha - PC: 4
THEME: The Wild Hunt ---
GENERATED : 04/05/2018 00:26:37 BUILD ID : 2060.18-02-04 Lost the die roll and went second, choosing the side that had cover and a forest. I was up against minions, Jaga Jaga, Wrongeye&Snapjaw, one other lesser warlock, dracodile, and some other fun stuff...I lost, mostly due to dice, turns 2 and 3 I could not roll better than less than average rolling less than 6 on 2 and 3 dice kinda sucks. But, I did figure out throwing stoneskin on Megalith when he is 6 inches from a model gets work done, I think I will stick to this list for a few more weeks. Get a flow and rhythm going on with it. But, should I keep my Gorax in the back and wait for am opportunity or play aggressive? I lost him on opponents 2nd turn which was partly placement on my side, he was 1/4 inch from being safe.

I like the idea but I think it's missing a shot I play something similar without a theme since I get more benefit to the solos than to charging through the woods, maybe because I never found it in good situations

U need to pick one. Shifting stones 8” port is hardly likely to put him behind enemy lines, in fact if u got that close, normally at least 1 of those stones has been killed. In Call of the Wild the stones are usually more for fury management with port being a bonus threat ... rarely used.

Okay, for now this is my list 1. Although I think Baldur1 may be a better choice I think this gives me better odds if my alpha goes to hell because my dice are having an affair with my opponent. War Room Army

Baldur the Stonesoul - WB: +30 - Druid Wilder - PC: 0 - Megalith - PC: 20 (Battlegroup Points Used: 20) - Gorax Rager - PC: 7 (Battlegroup Points Used: 7) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 3) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19 - Rip Horn Satyr - PC: 14 - Pureblood Warpwolf - PC: 17 - Wild Argus - PC: 7

So some changes to available models
Baldur1 x2 Baldur2 x2 Kromac1 Kromac2 Morvahnna2 Mohsar Tanith x2 Wurmwood
Warbeasts; Megalith x2 old sculpts (maybe convert one into a warden?) Loki Ghetorix old sculpt 3x Pureblood WW 2x Feral WW 3x WW Stalker 4x Wild Argus 1x Winter Argus 1x Argus Moonhound 4x Gorax Rager Riphorn Satyr Razorwing Griffon Rotterhorn Griffon Units Skinwalkers +UA 2x Bloodweavers Bloodtrackers+UA Shifting Stones +UA Shifting Stones +UA (now have a total of 12 shifting stones) Druids+UA Solos; Hutchuck Blackclad Wayfarer 2x Reeve Hunter 2x War Wolves 4x Gallows Grove 2x Druid Wilder 2x Lord of the Feast 2x Una The Falconer Misc 1x Wolves of Orboros UA
So with the new ADR I'm kinda stuck with just Wurmwood in Devo host, although I may buy Morv1 and a Night Witch and set of Death Wolves. But bones is where I am, well, boned. I have a Megs and a proxy warden. Any suggestions on which way to go?

Interesting choices. Any reason why a gorax over a wild Argus with big Mac?

Interesting choices. Any reason why a gorax over a wild Argus with big Mac? Mainly a second source of primal, Carnage tends to fix the mat problem for the most part, correct?

So just a quick battle report.
Played War Room Army
Circle Orboros - Big Mac Beast Brick Attack

Kromac, Champion of the Wurm - WB: +28 - Druid Wilder - PC: 0 - Ghetorix - PC: 21 (Battlegroup Points Used: 21) - Pureblood Warpwolf - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 7) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19 - Gorax Rager - PC: 7 - Feral Warpwolf - PC: 18 - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 19
Blackclad Wayfarer - PC: 0 Lord of the Feast - PC: 0
Shifting Stones - Leader & 2 Grunts: 0 - Stone Keeper - PC: 2
against
War Room Army
Cygnar - Kraye SD Trip Clad
Theme: Storm Division 2 / 2 Free Cards 74 / 75 Army
Captain Jeremiah Kraye - WJ: +28 - Squire - PC: 0 - Stormclad - PC: 18 (Battlegroup Points Used: 18) - Stormclad - PC: 18 (Battlegroup Points Used: 10) - Stormclad - PC: 18
Captain Arlan Strangewayes - PC: 0 Major Katherine Laddermore - PC: 8 - Major Katherine Laddermore (Continued)

THEME: Storm Division ---

I won by concession, my turn 2 LotF killed 2 Stormlances, and a stalker killed another, lightning striking into a forest to block lanes to K2 Opponent feats on their turn 2,kills pureblood, wayfarer puts Ghetorix on 7 boxes, a stalker on 5 and timekeeper dead. I feat kill off all but 3 stormlances, Ghetorix heals his spirit and SOMEHOW kills a Stormclad, Feral eats a Stormclad and a stormlance. Gorax makes lunch out of 2 stormlances, and K2 eats Kathy and a stormlance. Opponents turn 3 kills feral, a stalker, shifting stone, and wilder. my turn 4 opponent concedes.
Not the best report but for not taking notes this is the best I can remember. Definitely was glad to have the Gorax instead of Wild Argus, due to being able to save fury on K2 to buy attacks over casting primal.

I gotta say I love a big old Wolfpack as battlegroup. Glad the gorax worked out. Thanks for the report!

Okay so played Kromac2 list against Zadesh (Skorne shooty list) double derp turtles.
Was almost a turn 2 assassination seeing as I didn't know what I was playing against and didn't ask question.
Kromac survived opponents turn 2 with 1 box (opponent couldn't roll better than a 3 to hit, and if he needed anything but snakes, well, yesh). Made the come back using Lord of the Feast to pressure his infantry, as well as the pureblood just puking up kills left and right. Ghetorix 1 rounded a Turtle, and almost killed his second if I wouldn't have reminded my opponent of spiny growth being up.
But, I digress, should I use the hyper aggressive field marshal to try and engage in melee with shooty lists or try and stay out of ranges until I can get a good alpha?
