Hello all. I am very new to IKRPG and RPGs in general but I am planning on running a campaign for my group to introduce them to the setting. I am wanting to add Grymkin into my story along with some of the main warlocks from the faction. One being the Child and the other being the Heretic. I have seen no information on the Grymkin in general for IKRPG though. I was wanting to know if anyone had run a campaign with them and how they did it? Also does the Monsternomicon contain profiles for Grymkin?

So I am guessing no one has ever done this before? Honestly haven't seen much coming out of IKRPG lately. Anyone think there is a reason for this or is it because they have so much other stuff going on?

So I am guessing no one has ever done this before? Honestly haven't seen much coming out of IKRPG lately. Anyone think there is a reason for this or is it because they have so much other stuff going on? They just did an insider with northkin content for the RPG, it's still on the front page. They've also have content in every issue of No Quarter for a while now. They don't release as much a company that only does RPGs, but it's not their main thing. As for the Grymkin thing. I know there's stays for some Grymkin they put out, and you can just convert the rules from the miniatures as well. I don't really have any advice beyond that.

I would also like to re-iterate the suggestion of just taking the model stats and modifying them to your needs. If you find your IKRPG group is too strong, increase life totals of your monsters or increase the number of grunts you throw out, and the thing to keep in mind with the grimkin is they are fantasy creatures of imagination. Go nuts.

I appreciate it guys for the info and suggestions. Like I said I don't have much experience doing this kind of stuff so any suggestions are much appreciated. I will definitely look at the stats and see what I can do with them.

So I will detail what I've done in my IKRPG game.
The campaign is set within Khador it is about 14 months behind the current timeline. It had been started about 1 year before the Llealese invasion in my original D20 campaign. New group with new system restart date was about mid 608. Once the PCs got to veteran I paused the campaign, about 2 years of real time passed before we continued, we rotate GMs and campaigns, plus I was really looking forward to running FFG Star Wars. So last year we got back to campaign arc 2 "Who is thy Father's Child?". In this campaign arc I put a twist on every PCs "father" "child" relation.
The only original PC who is part of the campaign a Khadoran Aristocrat-military officer (INT), the PCs father supported Great Princess Regna, but was murdered protecting her, he was a landless count in service to her in the Capitol, his only son (the PC became a viscount upon his father's death) has been asked by G.P. Regna to marry her cousin who is a countess, but isn't fully recognized as she isn't married, by her Great Prince. As G.P. Regna couldn't show her gratitude to the PCs father so long ago and with no wish to see her family name weakened by the loss of her cousin's lands she felt she could finally show a loyal family of supporters a true step up by seating the pc with her cousin.
Next PC, who recently died, but has somehow unknown to the PLAYERS btw, inhabited a Morrowan 'Jack of Khadoran make. The PCs father who is a Menoth loyalist priest and was responsible for smuggling many 'Jack parts including cortexes. While he was on a religious pilgrimage (smuggling), he learned that he had been found out. His wife pregnant and back in Khador at the time tried to flee. She avoided capture after being located, but there had been an altercation and she was gravely wounded and near her term. The winter weather was getting worse and worse, however a guide did appear as she called for menoth's aid, though unbeknownst to her Menoth had turned away from her. The guide took her to a Morrowan church where shortly thereafter she gave birth to the PC, a priest of Morrow/Warcaster, then she passed, the final key... The Morrowan priest that raised him had no knowledge at first of who he was, but eventually figured it out. This priest BTW also advised Regna's uncle and then her cousin. The PC grewup with Regna's cousin, a poor priest in training and a strong young noble woman, fates all intertwined.
I have another player who switches PCs often so right now he is on a Gobber, his first PC a female manhunter/Warcaster was killed by Retribution forces as the PCs travelled south towards Lleal. The player didn't know, but she was born to a powerful blackclad Warlock woman who left her to a friendly Khadoran family. The Warlock would of killed her daughter as an antithesis of the blackclad ways, had not the old Witch visited her one night when the Warlock was thinking of cutting her child right from her womb. For the child bonded with a raging 'Jack that was charging her mother and her companion Argus. The 'jack Marshall had sent it charging to take out the enemy Warlock, the PCs mother, instead the 'jack turned on it's Marshall and the rest of the lumber camps occupants. The PC was an experiment of the Old Witch to see if she could determine the fold between a Warcaster and a Warlock to give herself a pathway to controlling the Grymkin Warbeasts if the Grymkin over-step their welcome. The mother having given birth was slain by the old Witch who then assumed her form, dropped off the pc with the family and watched her grow into a strong woman who like herself possessed the duality of both Warcaster and Warlock. Zerkova also sacrificed the PCs father a powerful Warcaster, combining the blood and life essence of the PCs mother and father allows Zerkova domain as a Warcaster and Warlock. Though the PC died, she still lives, the guide of the lost found her and guided her home, for he walks again...
The last PC an Arcanist-investegator (greylord) is the guides first child, a being like the Grymkin, but much older even than the old Witch, he is the first self enlightened man, a walking God. Imprisoned as the Grymkin were, but not one prone to the madness, as the Lawgiver just gave him a home.
So with the freedom of the Grymkin, the guide of the lost walks again, taking home those who follow, but as his peaceful way was torn from him by the Lawgiver, now he carries a big stick to smote Menoth's foolish folly.
The Grymkin sow discord and reap it greedily, the guide walks between light and dark, bending shadow to his will, forming dreams from everyone's lost thoughts and working fleeting memories into real fears in the form of phantasms.
Within the no quarter primes are a fair number of useful things that could be done with stangelight and the IKRPG.
