No Quarter has been knocking it out of the park with narrative scenarios, and Trophy Kill is by far my favourite. A cooperative Warmachine experience is a pretty unique thing. The last convention I went to I gathered up a group of three other players and we spent most of a day playing it. I think I have a couple of battle reports of it floating around.
The Troll Gargantuans make for some particularly nasty opponents. There was an incident involving a Forge Guard doing just enough damage to trigger the trample retaliation, only for the Sea King (I think? Might have been a Glacier King) to eat most of the dwarf Warband and heal all of the damage done to it by that attack plus some.

We've only played against the Circle gargs so far, but a troll one is definitely on the to do list.

Jason Shrum was running it at Kingdomcon and while I was skeptical of the list, the HHH by itself was surprisingly effective.
What Warlock are you looking at for it?

Thanks for taking the time to write this up. It is interesting to see the Bearka list seems to consistently come up just short on killing things, but you make good use of a few raiders, a fell caller and even the stone to get that last bit in. Seems like the cold stone and a charge push even a troop to the point it can do a few chip points to most things.

Also, my dice were consistently sort of low aside from a few spikes so I'm not sure if it's normally needed.

My Local troll player has been really working with double max LR lists and has found, under the stone, they are pretty difficult to kill. Do you think madrack2 double LR is viable? Or is it too predictable and gimmickey?

Do you think madrack2 double LR is viable? Or is it too predictable and gimmickey? Madrak 2 double long rider is probably totally viable. The problem with such a low model count army though is that as soon as you see something like kell/Eiryss on the other side of the table you're in trouble. I'd definitely like to try the list though! I'm not sure I'd be able to pair it with borka, but you might be able to. Other things I'm hoping to explore are doomie 3, grim 2, and calandra.

Wouldnt Double long riders just go F-ing kill Kell on turn 2 or something?
