Good read! Interesting that people are dropping the squire, I too thought he was an auto include.
Do you think you could add a "typical" nemo3 list as a reference point too?

I am always conflicted between building him in Heavy Metal or Storm Division
Heavy Metal grants the extra deployment and you can easily get 3 free solos.
Storm Division however allows Storm Lances to act as spark nodes, which means you can out-threat things like Strike Force. However if you go for 60 points of storm-nouns and a warjack on Junior, Nemo's battlegroup is pretty sparse.

Not to mention that being able to allocate one focus and max out a jack is pretty nice in heavy metal.

...aand looka that. www.discountgamesinc.com/tournaments/Looks like the first and third place teams each had a Nemo3/Haley3 pairing. Surprise surprise. The Tom Guan list with Reinholdt and a Stormwall that I'd called out as being atypical was in the first place team. The third place Nemo3 list with 4 fireflies and 6 stormcallers was very much more typical.

I'm going to post something soon analyzing the Stryker2 lists, since he was the third-most taken at OTC. I figure Haley3 gravedigger lists aren't going to be super-varied. Plus, not much personal interest in Haley3. :-)

The 'damocles sword' feel of Nemo3 is getting stronger...

The 'damocles sword' feel of Nemo3 is getting stronger... Scrubs will always opt for moaning rather than trying to find a solution.
The only change I would advocate atm is that enemy models need to be in his CTRL for the feat

That would take him off the table... Just think of Ossyan.

Good write-up, as someone whos never played nemo3 but often thought about it this was pretty helpful.
Note:
stormguard are def 14 vs charges, not 15.

Actually I find this a very reasonable approach and I would have expected this to be the way to go. With the changes to immunities however, PP could also see Nemo3 as "less dramatic". How often a caster is played should not be a definite reason for blind nerfs, but its still a strong indicator.
