This too. Also playing through SR4 right now. Such a silly game.

Both characters that would make Michael Bay proud.
Back to the game for a sec, do people find it's better to run the redeemer in battlegroup or jack marshaled? Assuming you have points for one.

Tristan1. They need the focus for boosts, so marshalling is rarely a good option. Even when aiming they're only RAT3, so they often need a to-hit help (Unless you're carpet-bombing infantry, but that doesn't happen as much as it used to). Tristan1 can run 2 of them to full effect and relieves the redeemers' focus burden from your warcaster.

I'm building my redeemers right now. I got a kick out of this thread. I hope they damage the enemy more than they damage my own chances of winning! They are very spectacular, but not so accurate.

Have 2 Redeemers with Tristan 1 and one with Kreoss 1. Then you start to notice that you lost your friends as you hit your opponent with 9 fully boosted POW 14 range attacks on feat turn.

The biggest issue I've faced with redeemers is that 2-3(x3) deviating blasts eat your clock like nothing, so keep an eye out.

Depends on your caster for me. For example: Reznik1 - you want them in the battle group so they benefit from Brand of Heresy. Sevi1 - I like them with a jack marshal - normally the soul guy. The 'take Aim' order plus sevi's +1 to hit rule (friendly faction model in control) makes for a surprisingly accurate redeemer (RAT 4 hits a heavy on below average dice) If I want to take two or more Redeemers and it is not a Reznik1 list, I take them with Tristian. Being able to fully fuel them every turn is pretty good for the points.
