I'm returning to the game after 2 to 3 years off, and didn't play much then either, so I'm a relative newbie. I will be acquiring a second unit of TFG from a trade, and I am reaching out to you lovely people for advice on double TFG lists/casters. Initially Sev 1, ToM, and Thyra come to mind (though on paper I like Thyra in FM). I'm also acquiring Reznik2 in the trade; does he lije double TFG, maybe alongside Cleansers for all the infantry hate? Thanks.

I'm using Sevi 1 with a lot of success thus far. Here is what I have been using. This list as good staying power and Sevi help to give it a little more punch via Eye of Menoth.
Grand Scrutator Severius (Guardians of the Temple) -Guardian -Sanctifyer -Blessing of Vengence
Nivia, Tear of Vengence Pyrrhus, Flamegaurd Hero Vasssal Mechanic Reclaimer Gatekeeper.
Daughters of the flame (ambush) Flame Bringers TFG + UA TFG + UA
I use the DoF and FB to attack and try to collapse one of the enemy flank while the TFG brick in a zone or two. Sanctifier and Reclaimer take the souls of the killed TFG and help with ashen vail and a counter punch in the Sanctifier case.
Sevy can help with Defenders Ward and nuke anything in the way via the 2 arc nodes.

I Would say any of our infantry support casters.
Thyra, Vindictus, Harbinger are all big ones that come to mind.
Vindictus can create a pretty durable line of Flamguard with D-ward and penetince. Harbinger also makes them obnoxious to remove.
The main issue with GotT is hitting power though, so you may want to keep that in mind as you consider a caster.

Vindictus can make for a REALY hard TFG brick to remove via is feat. I haven't tryed him yet in GoT but I did in EI and it was pretty efficient. I didn't realy like Harbi in TFG though. The lack of a hierophant really hurt her.

Either pray to Menoth or feel his fury. You'll burn either way.

The lack of a hierophant really hurt her. Hierophant loss is sad, but Def 17 (awe plus set defense) from charges and arm 20 under minifeat is solid. Also, def 16 flame bringers under martyrdom is super legit. Take this list as an example. (Harbinger 1) The Harbinger of Menoth [+24] - Devout [9] - Devout [9] - Vigilant [9] Nicia, Tear of Vengeance [0(5)] Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero [0(5)] Wrack [1] Wrack [1] Daughters of the Flame [10] Flame Bringers (max) [17] Flame Bringers (max) [17] Temple Flameguard (max) [11] - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard [0(4)] Temple Flameguard (max) [11] - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard [4] Its a def skew brick meant to face down other infantry. Guided hand on Flame bringers gives you very good chances of triggering grevious and Nicea and Pyrus will be obnoxious to remove with martyrdom. You can guarantee heal yourself for around 8 or 9 focus a turn and use the devout vigilant boat to sheild you from random assassinations.

This is very similar to what I am planning to play soon (2nd Flamebringers are in the works now).
A High Reclaimer double TFG army (paired with Amon) was very successful at our last master-class tournament, finishing in second place. It had 2xCrusader, 2xDervish, 2x full TFG, Flamebringers, Idrians, Rhupert + some other useful bits.

Due to my irrational love of Cleansers, I was considering the following.
Theme: Guardians of the Temple 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
The High Reclaimer - WJ: +32 - Devout - PC: 9 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Crusader - PC: 10 (Battlegroup Points Used: 10) - Reckoner - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13)
Nicia, Tear of Vengeance - PC: 0 Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero - PC: 0 Vassal Mechanik - PC: 1 Wrack - PC: 1 Wrack - PC: 1 Anastasia di Bray - PC: 3
Choir of Menoth - Leader & 3 Grunts: 4 Flame Bringers - Leader & 4 Grunts: 17 Flameguard Cleansers - Leader & 9 Grunts: 15 - Flameguard Cleanser Officer - PC: 0 Temple Flameguard - Leader & 9 Grunts: 11 - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4 Temple Flameguard - Leader & 9 Grunts: 11 - Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4

Before theme forces, Cleansers and High Reclaimer were a power list. I don't see why that would change now, that list looks great!
