Krehorse and all the cav seems the only way to play him ATM, does anyone have a more combined arms suggestion?

I never take more than 1 unit of vengers, and I don't own flamebringers...
I go with idrians, vengers, fire, guardian, reckoner, and fill the rest up with more 'jacks and support.

Kreoss3 plays a lot of things well. He just does the most for the Vengers.

Protectorate of Menoth - 3reoss
Theme: No Theme Selected 75 / 75 Army
Intercessor Kreoss - WJ: +28 - Fire of Salvation - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Blood of Martyrs - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 12) - Guardian - PC: 15
High Exemplar Gravus - PC: 9 Rhupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord - PC: 4 Wrack - PC: 1 Anastasia di Bray - PC: 3 Wrack - PC: 1
Exemplar Vengers - Leader & 4 Grunts: 20 Choir of Menoth - Leader & 3 Grunts: 4 Knights Exemplar - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9 - Knights Exemplar Officer - PC: 5
This is the mixed arms list I'm working on. I've run it a few times with TFG+UA instead of KE+UA and a wrack and a punch monk instead of Anastasia.
The idea is to get the +1 on the roll off and go first. put Ignite on the Vengers, Assail on FoS, and Arcane Ward on the KE. Pathfinder the Vengers with Rhupert but keep him close to the KE for tough on future turns. Run up the table and position for full assault on turn 2 and if anything dies it just makes the 'jacks better. This is a very glass cannon list but I've always had fun playing it.
