I'm pretty disappointed by this. It looks like an uninspired fan conversion. Maybe it will be more interesting in person?

Out of curiosity tarviche, what were you expecting?

ON first viewing i was blown away. ON second, closer inspection i think that the ship is an amazing sculpt. The figures on the deck are..... distinctly lackluster. Almost like they just grabbed a bunch of old models and glued them down.
But thats just my opinion. Will be interested to see it in the flesh.

Really like the look of her.
How I'm going to face painting her is another issue completely (currently got Old Witch 3 sitting on my painting table staring at me with accusatory glances)

I love it- really cool looking model, and her rules looks pretty fun, as well. Plus, free bandana!

i like the mini, just dont care for it much.
2 pow 14 rng 12 shots? she returns dudes. no nukes, but shes got shots.
meh. cant put my finger on it. maybe i just dont want a huge base caster. or rather, never saw her as one.
but BOAT! you say...yea, its a gorgeous sculpt.
but it should be terminus with the huge base.

Out of curiosity tarviche, what were you expecting? Hmm, I guess something a bit spookier, less concrete, less plain, more complex and creatively designed--I was hoping for something like the Mortis Engine, but more naval. See below--the verticality, the more complex geometry, the more integrated ghostly creatures/components. It looks otherworldly and unsettling. Skarre 3, by contrast, looks like a cutaway section of a regular ship you'd find at a museum, stuck on top of some soul bits. The souls/crew/ship really do look kind of patched together, like a conversion, to me. Love the rules, though, so I might try to bash these two models together to make something more to my liking, and just put a dashing female skeleton pirate at the wheel.

Size comparison........ Almost too big to be a practical gaming piece???

I'm curious as to what the ship's stern looks like, 'cos there better be chasers and a freakin' license plate!

How are you guys seeing the released rules? She’s not showing up yet on my WarRoom,
Or are you just going off the last iteration of CiD rules for her?

Thanks.
Yeah, she looks like a ball-buster. Possibly the strongest caster in the faction at first glance - can run every theme well by the looks of it.

If the front of the boat is missing, why don't they just swivel the cannons to point forward?

Replace "strongest" with "versatile" and you might be right. Might.
On the sculpt: I'm torn. Not enough "Ghost", too much "Ship" for my taste. I like the comparison to the Mortis Engine or heck: The artwork on the card! Would have been way better with the "riding on a wave of Ghosts" design. Instead of "some ghosts prop up our ship"
