I'm a fan of the Indictor for the 'expensive' heavy. Both blessed and the 5" aura are occasionally brilliant, and ARM 23 can survive a while if I want to run it to where the aura will be a pain.
Spell immunity also shines every now and then against opponents that rely on debuffs to crack the ARM 23. The magical weapon is useful far less often, but there if I need it.
I don't travel to national/international events though. The Indictor might not be optimal there.

Indictor can help with Butcher or if you have a lot of Hordes in your meta. Things like doomie3 0 cost animi buff for bg+. Charge with Axer's animi and then switch to +3 STR will bee less reliable. Also Fortify on him can be removed only via direct (usually melee) hit or Purification. He's great against Vayl2+ Hellmouth

Last weekend's master-class tournament in Poland had Amon (paired with HR2 in Guardians) take 2nd place, with the only game lost in 7th turn to tiebreakers.

Either pray to Menoth or feel his fury. You'll burn either way.

The random other factions I either don't have much issue with or it is a bad match up(i.e.-Ret) I just thought this would be something new to try because blessed magical weapons are fun. Curious about how losing my 2nd shield guard will feel.

Vigilant+ 1 Templar should be enough to save Amon from shooting

Vigilant+ 1 Templar should be enough to save Amon from shooting Oh he isn't getting shot off the board. In fact I've only dropped 3 games with him. One to a super out of nowhere assassination (that was opened by my poor positioning), one to butcher3 (misplaced book got me rekt), and one to Ret weaponmasters. It happens.
