I am looking forward to testing Crucible Guard units in Llaelese Resistance. I have a feeling that will be my gateway drug into full blown Crucible Mercs are now my primary focus in WM since i liquidated everything else in MK3. Ironically, i've been resistant to LLaelese Resistance up until now because i categorically dislike buying Out-of-Faction models (mercs notwithstanding) for a theme unless i also play that faction the Out-of-Faction models are coming from. For that reason i've thus far avoided both Kingmaker and LR (another reason is Irregulars is the least themey theme that ever themed, and as i typically loathe themes, Irregulars is a good fit for me ; it lets me get all the benefits of a theme while basically allowing me to forget i'm playing one) So far i'm loving what i see from Crucible (from aesthetic, to game mechanic theme [stacking debuffs], the fact they are a limited faction), so if i decide to take the plunge into CG, that would open up my Llalese Resistance options. So i'm right there with you, and yet at the polar opposite end of the spectrum ; Crucible will be the gateway drug for me int LR.

One of them let slip that Ashlynn will love the jump pack guys and Gastone with love that heavy unit who's art was recently spoiled. Either way, I'm excited about what the possibilities are.

So via the Theme Force they get a new ability called: "This is not Shield Guard", effect: "See Shield Guard" to avoid the you can't have a single rule 2 times problem?

Baldwin looks interesting. I don't suppose anyone managed to write down all the spoilers? Watching videos at work is frowned upon

Interesting that Gearhart and Clog don't have any environmental immunities. Neither did the Rocketmen (and their AoE damage isn't of any particular type). So there may be more friendly fire risks when playing CG than we might have expected.

Dunno, they are still immune to anything classified as "gas" effect, so that's another way of protecting them from friendly fire (make it corrosion gas / burning gas) while still allowing enemies with "regular" corrosion weapons to damage them.

Gearhart looks super fun and strong on first inspection.
Veteran Leader [Warrior Models] is a great passive ability, his feat, Decel and Boundless Charge are all great.
Molten Metal you can probably ignore in most cases, being only focus 6 he probably wants to spend it boosting his sweet guns instead.
Hot Shot I would need to see the rest of the jacks to make a proper verdict, but it should be a good spell
The highlight are his guns, the versatility and the potential for 2 shots is awesome

Molten Metal is highly situational, but because you know where the damage will go and how much it'll be, it has a use as a guaranteed way to finish a jack or cripple a certain system.

Oh Sweet Jebus that's good! Can't wait to try that on his Spray 10 Pow 13 gun with 2 shots at Rat 7.

I'm super excited for him! I am slightly annoyed that Clog is an attachment and they aren't a unit, but I can deal with that, it's definitely not a deal breaker by any means. Oh, that's so you don't get a third shot from Reinholdt...
