Hi all, I'm getting out of this game, and out of the Vassal module business. If anyone feels like taking over, you can find the git repository here: github.com/Malnorma/WMH_Vassal. Clone it and go nuts. Don't expect to be doing anything fancy with git though, you'll be setting yourself up for pain with Vassal - stick to a single master branch and keep the commits fairly small. There are some placeholders in there that I haven't released, because I've been waiting for all the command books so I wouldn't leave any factions out. My best unimplemented ideas for improvements: * A hotkey to show/hide a linked damage grid for each model, so you don't have to drag them out while setting up. I never found a good way to do this that didn't involve more custom code to ensure uniqueness, but maybe I've overlooked something. * Designing a custom launcher for the core module and moving all the factions to extensions, so the launcher can keep people updated. People are terrible at keeping their module updated. * A terrain randomiser to make a reasonable map, instead of selecting one of the many no-longer-relevant maps embedded in there. To whoever takes this over, good luck. My gmail address is still malnormacxio. If you have questions you're welcome to email me there. I won't promise a speedy answer, but I've certainly learned a lot about Vassal in the last few years.

Whoa I didn't notice this until now. Well I have to say I'm bummed that you're leaving the community mal. You've been doing such great work for so long I'm not sure how we'll get by without you. Thanks so much for your contributions and good luck with whatever you get into next!

Mal you are a legend! I was hoping for a version with SR2017 scenarios but this came faster than I'd even hoped!

That 404'ed for me. Could you repost it?

Clone the repo and create a zip of the contents, rename it .vmod. I strongly recommend someone fork it. The Malnorma account is being deleted.

I don't suppose anyone has a working compiled/vmodded version of the file? For some reason vassal won't register the renamed zip file here, and while I could probably research the guts to figure it out I figure no sense in reinventing the wheel if it's already been cracked or something silly.

Chances are you zipped the containing folder as well. The moduledata and buildFile need to be at the top level of the zip's hierarchy.
If you have git, you can use this command to do the work: git archive --format zip -o path/to/WMH_Vassal.vmod master

Hey Mekame, I ganked the repo and published a release with the module. You can download the vmod from there. github.com/npe9/WMH_Vassal/releases

I'd like to add that too if you have that lying around.

Thanks, both of you! Malnorama for setting this up and NPE for the file. ...also for inspiring me to figure out there's actually a bash shell on windows. This is going to be very, very useful, heh heh heh.
...also that was foolish of me. Open, not import...
NPE: I had this old extension from the cid cycle if it helps.

Happy to help. I grabbed your CID build and pushed it to a branch on github (tell me if that's gibberish and I'll speak human). v

Also Malnorma, could you put your module code somewhere so it can be maintained?

Haha, nope, I understand gitspeak. Have to deal with this stuff some in my professional life -- which is why I was so confused why it wasn't taking the input earlier.
