I’ve been tracking the ATC standings. Some unexpected results as of when I write. I’m hoping that we’ll get some battle reports from the event over the next few days. Anyone been there, who can offer some insight? I’d love to know how some of the games went.

I would like to see the breakdown of how each faction is doing, and down to casters if that's doable. Thanks.

This was after 4 rounds. The guy who was calculating it on my FB chat is finishing Round 5 later.

I stand corrected.
Ret really had the crap beaten out of them.

Ouch. This, plus the WTC results, do make me question whether Grymkin were actually dialed in correctly in CID.

Protectorate proving to be quite the dark horse, most likely carried forward by the amazing theme forces it got.
Grymkin's win rate is incredible..
Rest in peace, Memetribution of Scyrah. Are grymkin and cryx really good against Ret or something? or are the memetribution's theme forces just *that* bad? Because even legion, who is usually panned for its theme forces does better than that
Skorne came in a lot lower than i think a lot of people expected. But i think thats what happens when Zaadesh2 is the second most popular warlock and Warhost is the most popular theme

Ret was the last release before CID of releases. We got dogshit for releases, we have stuff in dire need of CID ( destors, ravyn, thyron and goreshade all need some attention and our jacks suffer from PP over valuing versatility. We don't have a cheap jack to trade, we cant bring character jacks in any themes outaide their bonded caster, our units for the most part all overlap each other in purpose and the power creep of every CID cycle puts us more and more in the hole. We don't even have a CID on the slate yet and most likely when we do get one in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2018 it will be dawnguard focused and pagani will slap down any attempt to fix stuff that isn't related to our new releases. Since Ravyn2 will be coming out who knows if ravyn1 will get the kraye rework she needs to have a chance to see play. For now we just have to hold on and accept that each CID will put another faction two steps ahead of where we stand. Currently we are pigeonholed into 4 or so lists that stand a chance in the meta but are easily answered by the majority of pairings other factions can bring.

But i think thats what happens when Zaadesh2 is the second most popular warlock and Warhost is the most popular theme Retribution has two problems, IMO: 1. They currently pose no real meta-relevant questions. This isn't terrible, since Ret's always been more of an 'answer' faction anyways, but at the moment we're having a really hard time covering all of the questions in a two-list pairing. 2. They're trying to play a fair game at a time that the top factions are decidedly not doing so. Most of our stuff is pretty fine, some of it is good, but we don't have crazy, over the top synergy like you're seeing in the new CID'd factions, nor do they have the kind of 'naturally occurring' synergy you see in, say, Cryx's themes, or Cygnar's ability to boost Electrical damage to over 9000. They also don't have any pieces that are really above curve. The new lights are close, but the restrictiveness of themes keeps them from having the kind of impact they otherwise might have. isotope - was Ravyn2 confirmed and if so, where?

Well, seems all is right in the world. Cryx and the new faction are on the top. I like to see trollbloods in 5th, hoping it puts them in the map.

Some really intriguing results for this event. Cannot believe the leaps that protectorate and trolls have made towards through the score board- with ghost fleet dwindling in popularity it seems to have given other factions room to breathe and to ask their own questions rather than being on the back foot and struggling to put together answers and getting hammered elsewhere.
The one faction that doesn't seem to have benefited from this is khador who I thought were the most downtrodden by the rise of cryx. Perhaps there's other factors at play.
Retribution are clearly the overt losers at the moment. A friend of mine has been complaining about Ret for a while, guess it's time to take him seriously!
