On the overlord, it says his spray ignores LOS. Does this mean that you can shoot through terrain or something? Sprays are always weird for me. Thanks.

Terrain, models, clouds, whatever. You just need to point at a target on the board.
You can get really accurate with clipping multiple enemies by aiming at something a long way away to get the line you need.

I’ve learned to make use of the “aiming at something a long way away” when near a Cage Rager with corpses to spend to negate the spell.
For my benefit, can someone clarify how the spray works a little further. You ignore LOS, but not line of effect, don’t you? So, can you spray something on the other side of a building or beyond more than 3” of forest? Again, you’d ignore LOS to them, but sprays are still blocked by the obstruction or by 3” of forest, right?

This means a building blocks sprays, and 3" of forest blocks sprays, and if both models are outside of the forest, the forest blocks sprays regardless of width.* Since Cephalyx Overlord sprays ignore LOS, they cannot be blocked by terrain. *Relevant quote from Prime, p. 79:

Funny but I was just rereading that in Prime, I think tarviche is correct, which was the original reason for me starting this thread in the first place.

This is fantastic. So, I can put my Overlords on one side of that building that is always in the middle of the board, and let them spray through it to hit stuff trying to hide on the other side! Cool!
