Im picking my Circle back up after a bit of a break, and given the impending Tharn CID, I'd like to focus on playing the male Tharn options so I can hone some suggestions for that CID.
In that light, Im looking for list suggestions - both successful lists youve found featuring male Tharn, and what you've paired those lists with. All input and discussion welcome!
Please note, however, that I own no wolds, nor do I care to. And I have a limited amount of Wolf Sworn and druids. My collection is focused on living beasts and Tharn. So I wont be able to play certain pieces.

Devo Host is the way to go, your going to be running double ravager boats potentially with the supporting solos. Typically your list will be:
2X ravagers -UA 2X ravager shaman or white mane Death Wolves
Season to taste.
I have played blood pack about 5 times in MK3 and they are terrible dumpster fire trash. Seriously...just shelve them till CiD. If you don’t believe me try them yourself, I’m such a masochist I ran 2 Max Units cuz why not.,.
You may have to dabble in Lady Tharn. The night witch is arguably just a better white mane and the Bloodweavers are excellent second wave infantry. GW from them means you can cripple heavies but not kill (you’ll struggle to killheavies) and also helps you deal with really annoying myltiwound tough infantry.
I proxied some stuff a while back and ran this: Baldur1: -Megs -Ghetorix 2X max ravagers with UA 2X Bloodweavers 2X night witch Death wolves
It’s surprisingly resilient and hits pretty hard, But it really struggles to spread out and in SR17 that’s an issue.
Some cookie cutter lists.
Krueger1 -Ghetorix -Gorax 2 Max Ravagers with UA 2 Shaman 2 Night witch White mane Death Wolves 2X Bloodweavers
Krueger makes everything g +3 Def from shooting to deliver the army, you then eat all the tasty infantry and jam the heavies with toughno Knockdown Tharn ravagers. (No KD thanks to Shaman)
Wurmwood or Mohsar can run almost the exact same list well with few variations. Or you ca be a snowflake and run Morv 2.
Una 2 also runs this theme incredibly well because HoF gets work done and her BG can crack Arm with birds and a gorax or 2.. HoF on Ravagers is legit.
It’s not exactly a very diverse list as we have limited male Tharn options. (MALE THARN HEAVY CAV IN CID PLEASE PAGANI SEMPAI NOTICE ME!) but it’s fun to play.
Basic strategy: 1:Run screaming up board hugging cover and terrain because your entire army has pathfinder. 2: Kill all the infantry 3: Jam all the heavies 4:Grind a scenario or attrition win.
I would pair with Kaya3 in call of the Wild. She can handle Arm or Def skew really well and can even face some gunlines with her own Def skew.
I would say the best option would be Krueger 1 or Una2. Krueger 1 handles gunlines and cloudwalls better, but una2 is slightly more versatile.

Ive seen an interesting Grayle list from a Polish WTC team, and I have my own Morv2 list I want to try. I believe you on blood pack. I feel the same. Played them alot in early MKIII, total trash.

Hey Dox, Grayle works into guns and dudes. He doesn't do much, but he doesn't die. Beware his feat if using offensive can take a lot of time combo with Overtake. While I have played with 2max Ravagers UA, and Shaman; the Shaman isn't worth his points. Grayle will deliver them for sure, but they will all die the following turn to whatever is left. The Whitemane is handy; but I'd rather just opt for the Bloodweaver package. If I had more table time in with him I would have brought it to ATC.

Grayle was a meta call for denny1 at WTC.
Best options for running tharns are Krueger1 (ravagers build) or Una2 (both ravagers or massed stealth builds works here).
You can play a double Devourer's Host pairing if you want. Or DH+CotW.
DH is our second best theme, you can't go wrong with it.

What if ravagers got AD? Didnt they have it in MKII?

What if ravagers got AD? Didnt they have it in MKII? Honestly all they really “need” is a Pow Increase. Even something as simple as brutal charge would make them perfect to me. Speed 6 and pathfinder means they can get pretty far up the table turn 1 running. If you go second you’ll end up at 2” from the middle of the table after a full run. They work well enough now. As other medium infantry gets CiD though they will seem less acceptable. The other Tharn are another story. I’m interested to see you run Morv 2. I don’t like Morv in the fluff so I don’t play her, but she seems like a fun caster for Tharn.

I have a mind to try Krueger2 in Devourer's Host. I figure between Windstorm, terrain, and Spiny Growth, Krueger can be pretty safe while pushing forward to impact enemy guns. TK and Gallows should help with threats too, and some mobile solos can keep things honest. First swag: Theme: The Devourer's Host 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Krueger the Stormlord - WB: +27 - Ghetorix - PC: 21 (Battlegroup Points Used: 21) - Gorax Rager - PC: 7 (Battlegroup Points Used: 6)
Tharn Ravager Shaman - PC: 0 Tharn Ravager Shaman - PC: 0 Gallows Grove - PC: 2 Tharn Ravager White Mane - PC: 5 Tharn Ravager White Mane - PC: 5 Tharn Wolf Rider Champion - PC: 8 Tharn Wolf Rider Champion - PC: 8
Death Wolves - Skoll, Tala & Caleb: 9 Tharn Ravagers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 16 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain - PC: 0 Tharn Ravagers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 16 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain - PC: 5

fast moving flank pieces. For 2 more points you get a max unit of wolf riders which are a much more formidable threat. Those champs are kind of horrible.

14/14, no stealth means she dies to the average Boosted Pow 12.
I just don’t see that solo ever being usefull. But hopefully you’ll have success. Are they just for backline hunting?

Use terrain is the plan. And if they draw boosted shots to the flanks, ok? Im pretty practiced in these manouvers in Menoth, curious to see how they work here. Plus I love the models and have 2.

Fair, but at 8 points I think dying to a Boosted Pow 12 is pretty pitiful. Compare to the champ of the wall and it brings salty tears to my eyes because I love the models too haha.
In protectorate are you talking about Flam bringers on a flank? Other than lady flameguard I don’t see anything that roams out like the rider champ wants to. (Curious because I’m dipping into protectorate)
