Every time I feel like I'm swinging back into my Trolls in mk3, PP does something like this to price me out of it and drive me away. Between this and Raiders, all my excitement for Northkin, the best damn thing to happen to Trolls, has just been drained. It really breaks my heart.

Two units of Raiders, two units of bears, and the Hooch Hauler = $400+ Hell no.

You would think they would have changed the design considering how expensive the model would be to make.
Also this feels almostlike the samething as the sea king pre cid. Priced too high for anyone but the faction complete players.

Seems like they went through design without ever getting a price quote. Like how do you not have an upper end criteria for how much a battle engine should cost? Anything over $100 is ridiculous. As soon as an estimate comes back at $165 they should have gone back to the drawing board.

I dont think they realise how many players they lose to other games because of the ever rising prices.... Do they really have to do all of gws mistakes all over again?
Cant we just skip this part?

Hrrrm... As there are northkin tuffalo, I'm not sure those need replacement and if not, magnetization is an option. Buying a decorative unit of whelps+some greenstuff kegs should be sufficient. Not quite sure what to use for the catapult yet.

I Ordered HH, but lyckily I had -15% code for PP. And I think that HH prizing will encourage players to make their own conversions. But as gobber's conversion shows, model itself would be HUGE and render shows there would be lot of details. But at least you can play with it unlike Haley-statue. It's more like collector's item than actual model and not sure if it's good for game, but actually I more likely pay 165$ from one model that costs only 18p so I can fit it easier to lists than get for example fourth gargantuan and one character heavy (110$ and 55$) and then I have over 50p of models to fit my lists.

I can just add to the choir... Insane pricing, ESPECIALLY since we who live in Sweden (and presumably else where too) will be charged an extra 25% + 15$ in toll fees. That is s whopping 221.25$. I have struggled to build lists that use the HHH, since it seems sort of weak, but now i think ill just proxy it with a WW locally and play other models in tournaments. PP just lost the ~100$ i was actually willing to pay for this. What's the relative markup for non-BAHI models for you? Also where is the 25% coming from - currency differences or a markup from PP? Really shitty all around :/ The 25% is toll. since the US does not have free trade agreements with the rest of the world (unlike capitalistic countries like china... ) our government takes a 25% tax on anything imported from the US (just like the US government will tax anything imported). Then the 15$ is an additional "service fee" we have to pay to the nice post office to administer the 25% toll charge. The mark up on prices on other products vary, but the raiders cost 85$ in the US, and i pay 740 SEK in sweden. Today, 1$ = 8,15 SEK so in sweden the raiders cost roughly 91$. It is more expensive, but not cripplingly so.

I'm not sure why it isn't part plastic. The huge booze barrel would be an easy cast. At least make an effort to drop the price point.

Seems like they went through design without ever getting a price quote. Honestly, I get that impression for a lot of the things they do. It really does feel like looks above all else. It's hard to argue with them on that, it's going to sell more models, but it causes some additional problems. First, I don't think they actually try to transport their models further than the studio shelf to the gaming table. That's my first big problem with all the huge based models is it causes logistics problems of how to move this massive model around. Second, the models keep getting larger, and more elaborate, and harder to store. I LOVE the Horgol2 model, but he's so far outside the usual 1-1 1/2" high models it makes it hard to put him in a tray without laying him over on his side. I think if they had to move some of these models around a bit they'd think about that more.

Truth is you can still use a lot of the normal troll units, like Champs and Kriel Warriors, and doubling up isn't necessary.

gobber you could magnetize the hunched over models in a unit of battle bears and use a bit of green stuff and a crap-load of whelps for the catapult. Use bomber Bombs as the ammunition.

For the record I will be getting one but I was expecting to pay 120, not 165. I thought it would have been comparable to something like the prime axiom or the dwarven colossal in terms of bulk and has better detail than either one. To be honest, 165 probably is on par with how bulky it looks. Its just sooooo expensive though.

I am thinking it is for sure smaller than a collossal. Maybe the same height with the pygny on top. But based on the render I think its closer to the size of the war wagon.
