expect Skarre 3 to be at least 130. Paying more for a warcaster than a Gargantuan, also? That'll be tough to swallow. I'm probably wrong, my saltiness is showing. I look at the dracodile who is only 110 dollars and just scratch my head. how in the world did they come up with this Awful price lol

Yeah thats just insane. Not sure how they justify that cost at all. It sure can't be on plastic volume because that keg will be hollow for sure.
Im conviced that they just pick a random price out of a hat. Hopefully extremely low numbers of preorders will convice them that its about $80 too expensive.

The price is pretty absurd. Inflating price has been one of my key concerns with PP of late. To be clear, being in the UK I buy most of my stuff from online retailers who offer the maximum PP discount as well as from Ebay. I am prepare to accept that you will pay a pretty silly price for plastic toys but it is so outside the ballpark.
Like others my alarm bells were set off my the cost of the Northkin Raiders. I managed to get "eyes on" the models the other day and they are not really any bulkier than FennBlades. A max unit of plastic FennBlades cost about £38 if you buy them from Element Games (an UK online and B&M gaming store). So why are the Raiders nearly £70? It makes no sense. They are the same size and approximately volume of plastic...?
All 3 of the Kings are between £98 and £112 and are made mostly of resin/plastic and are very big models. To cost more than that, the Hooch Hauler needs to be....... well....... more. Size, detail, volume of material etc.
I just dont get it. I guess I just wont be buying one.

They are the same size and approximately volume of plastic...? I'm also concerned about the price of the Raiders, and didn't purchase a unit because they don't excite me enough to get over the $80 retail price. That having been said the comparison to Fennblades is not a fair one because the materials are different. Fenns were done with the crappy resin, while the Raiders are the new much better styrene based plastic. Fenns have also been out for about 6-8 years, and historically PP doesn't raise prices. So they're probably a bit too cheap, or would be more expensive if released at the same time, even if the material remained the same.

Other way around regarding materials. Fenns are PVC, Raiders are metal and resin, which are usually cast by hand instead of machine like PVC.
Maybe the increased price is to make up for free shipping worldwide.... Ugh. I was looking forward to an all drunk army, maybe I can make one with plasticard and a big barrel.

The funny part of this to me is, the rules of the HHH is not even that appealing either.
Remember the Croak Raider incident in mk2? PP must have HAD to make tons of money of off that.
Image if this model was bonkers good, meta bending auto include. Then they would probably sell a lot.
But now? meh...
I'm not saying the GW approach is good, just that there has to be a balance between the models, rules and pricing.

Sea King = 42 points. Very few fielded/bought it? Result = CID reduction by 1/7th or 6 pts.
HH = 165 dollars? Very few fielded/bought it? Reduction by 1/7th ~ $24 ??
The look of the photo/sculpt suggests many individual parts that would need to be cast/compiled (compared to the Dracodile).
Although I have the money to buy one, in solidarity I will choose not to purchase one till the pricing goes through CID! HA!
(ps- WW does a good job of proxying if you magnetize a bunch of kegs to it

That is pretty pricy.
I've I'm honest I wasn't to psyched about it in the first place. I like the kings as a center piece as they can do work on their own. It felt like a big part of the HH was how it supported the rest of the army. If you're already taking a stone now you have another circle to try and keep your army in.
I wasn't looking forward to trying to get the Venn diagram of power just right.

I can just add to the choir... Insane pricing, ESPECIALLY since we who live in Sweden (and presumably else where too) will be charged an extra 25% + 15$ in toll fees. That is s whopping 221.25$.
I have struggled to build lists that use the HHH, since it seems sort of weak, but now i think ill just proxy it with a WW locally and play other models in tournaments.
PP just lost the ~100$ i was actually willing to pay for this.

FWIW, we have not seen the actual model, but I've heard that is one of the biggest ever, and the total amount of material is comparable to the Sea King. And the Dracodile was almost svelt compared to the kings. And inflation, and so on, but still... this pisses me off too. This makes twice in Mk3 that Trollbloods has broken the record for the most expensive single model. And there was the Raiders, and in terms of dollars per army point battle engines are already bad.
I did want one, and I MIGHT be tempted to get one anyway, if only so that someone here can post pictures or an unboxing video. But yeah, this is pretty awful.

Is it just me or is the Troll on the front of the HH, just pretending to steer? Or is he just super hyped to be ridding on a keg?

Really shitty all around :/

The model looks insane with a seemingly insane price to go with it.
I can see the difference in price to this compared to the Dracodile, modelling/pieces wise..
So this will be 250 in aus dollars?

Woah guys, let’s not forget, you also get a FREE can cooler!
Yeah, I think I’m going to pass on this. Especially after Royal Mail add £32 ($43 USD) to have it imported.

Considering the exchange rate, it is hard to make a reason to buy it...
