JR Godwin posted an Insider that was all about the Lock & Load Gamefest coming June 22 - 24th. It has moved to a new date, and to a new location, and yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah. Because, this insider was NOT all about the Lock & Load Gamefest. Nope! For no reason given what-so-ever, there was a Crucible Guard spoiler about a warcaster unit. No, your eyeballs are not deceiving you, you read that right: warcaster unit. In case you actually have a pile of cash that you are not banging hookers on and want to fly to The Left Coast to play wargames, here is the info about Lock & Load: privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/lock-load-gamefest-2018And here is the spoiler so you don't have to burn a calorie clicking on the hyper-link above: In other news: Khador still does not have any bears.

I feel like Khador has been retconned out of a past victory and all its coolest ideas have been given away to a new faction leaving the Armored Core dry and boring as plain white chalk.

For those who are not manly enough to dare go into the Khador section, here is my response to a lengthier post Rowdy Dragon made in there:

Wow, there wasn't even any text explaining that spoiler at all, makes you wonder if it was just a wrong copy-paste.

It looks like Mr. Clogg is a loyal butler and caddy to crucible guard batman in power armor there. From now on, he will be known as Cloggsworth! It looks like he will have a variety of elemental attacks to choose from for his weapons and probably needs cloggsworth there to give him the options or add some benefit. Much like Keggy for Borka, though that only option is drinking until he gets stumbling drunk.

OK so based on the pictures it looks like each weapon will be an elemental type and the lackey/butler/sidekick hands him whatever weapon he needs for the job at hand.
Acid Cannon: Probably a rang 10 corrosive spray. Cryo Evaperator: Also probably a spray that has crit stationary. Catalytic Detonator: AOE 4 continuous fire Voltic Catapult: Probably Rof 2 or 3 with e leap or lightning generator.
I bet the lackey does nothing other than hand him weapons. I doubt he even uses the ones he carries. Its all about mr. baldwin.

Acid cannon has a drum, so i dont think it will be a spray oh fair point, probably multiple rof and a small AOE then. Maybe no AOE and erosion instead?

Didn't realize it before, but the Catalytic Detonator is shoulder mounted.
Also, who the hell let the guy that named everything in CoC name everything in CG?

I love this concept art. So far Crucible guard has me really hooked ; its got all the elements of what i really like in Warmachine aesthetic. I'm very cautiously optimistic on this mini faction.
