In June a local game store started a Warmachine/Hordes league. Picked up the Trollblood and Cygnar starter sets. I set the goal of painting every army I started. And 6 months later, here are the results. (finished the last model December 27) While not the best paint job. I'm still proud of the volume and over all quality. Hope you guys like them ~8) Smaller group shots for Trollbloods Smaller group shorts for Cygnar Smaller group shorts for Grymkin Smaller group shorts for Merc's

I already commented on the other forums, but... interesting model you swapped in for Croe. It's an IKRPG model I think? Do you not like the original Croe model?

I used several models from the "The Undercity" Iron Kingdom board game set. Two of the Freebooters, Croe's cutthroats (think its a generic gang boss model for Croe), and the rogue alchemist being used as Gorman Di Wulfe (tucked behind Colbie in the photo). Using the rest of the models would be a decent start to some Cephalyx....

I found the original model, I knew he was from the IKRPG: privateerpress.com/iron-kingdoms/miniatures/draegyn-the-black-bastard

Impressive to have painted so much so quickly! Whew... I can’t imagine how long that would take me. Lll +1 This is very impressive, and good looking armies to boot! I'm still working on finishing up my 3 Battle Boxes, and that's taken me almost a full year. Congrats on some very nice looking armies! Also, cool use of the Undercity miniatures. I have to ask, did you rebase them, or are they still on the softer plastic bases they came on? I've got all the board games so far (except for the Black River Irregulars) and I've yet to start on mine but I had figured on rebasing them eventually. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on that.

But they look fine from a distance. no ones noticed during normal play. The biggest concern was actually the primer. Spray primer on the Undercity models became very tacky, hard to handle and leaving fingerprints in the paint. you may want to hand paint them the base color instead of using spray primer.
