So I find myself at an impasse. I want to play Kolgrima as an armor cracker and have usually taken a beast brick to do this.
However infantry is clearly the way the world is going so Maybe I could run a list in SotN and one in BoH.
What do you guys think, which do you prefer?
Kolgrima (PoD) - Runebearer - Mulg - Brawler - Mauler - Earthborn - Axer - Winter Troll Max Stone + Northkin Attachment Dhunian Knot Shaman Whelps
or
Kolgrima (SotN) - Runebearer - Rok - Pyre Max Krielstone + NE Max Champions Max Champions Fire Eaters Fire Eaters Bear Handlers Fell Caller Hero Valka Min Bone Grinders Gremlin Swarm
Pow 14 weapon master champs seem good. I would probably look to pair it with Madrak 1 in BoH in a 2 list pairing. The Madrak list would be my Cryx drop.
I like the idea of playing kolgrima as a armor cracking list. I would go for pod cause kolgrima mulg is really nice. Something to consider might be bashers. If you keep the knot u are able to fish crit daggers and native pathfinder allows to rage them all the time hitting with power 17 beat back for 7 points. I will go for: War Room Army Trollblood - New Army Theme: The Power of Dhunia 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army Kolgrima Stonetruth, Winter Witch - WB: +28 - Trollkin Runebearer - PC: 0 - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 15) - Mulg the Ancient - PC: 22 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - Troll Axer - PC: 10 - Storm Troll - PC: 9 - Earthborn Dire Troll - PC: 14 - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 Troll Whelps - 5 Whelps: 0 Northkin Shaman - PC: 0 Totem Hunter - PC: 6 Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes - Leader & 5 Grunts: 9 - Stone Scribe Elder - PC: 3 I think the totem hunter will help in scenario play and kill solos of the opponent flag and sprint back behind a forest or cloud wall. I mentioned this in passing but for LVO I'm dropping Kolgrima for Gunnbjorn. I had thought Cryx CID nerfs would be live by then but it seems to not be the case so I need RFP sufficient to handle Ghost Fleet (while causing problems for CoC, PoM and various other strategies as well). I still think she's absurdly powerful and will be tinkering with her as soon as I get back from Vegas I really want to unlock her full output.

I do think that she makes a strong pairing with Madrak but that will take a lot of tinkering and adaptation to the meta.

In my opinion longchops will help a lot. Just thinking about the option to switch between longchops(solo) and weselbaum(unit) really wants me to be all in on adr with kolgrima.

What does Longchops do again? I went ahead and posted the whole page from the CID files. Also, it looks like we have a release date for my favorite gator- February 16.

Yeah, thanks a lot! I remember seeing him during CID, but didn't pay enough attention.

I realized that Vlad2 with all the rockets is not a great idea for Kolgrima That being said - what's your Gunnbjorn build, gdnerd? Cheers, Klaw

Alternatively, swap the bog trog for swamp gobbers and a gremlin swarm if you don't care about Protectorate or Cloud Walls.

Hmm, what changes were you waiting for?
Seems to me that Ghost Fleet recursion is the same, which I guess is the main question between Kolgrima or Gunnbjorn..

If Denny wasn't nerfed I needed something that took such a hot steaming dump on her that they would never consider playing her into me. Now that Denny is nerfed, I could feasibly play Kolgrima and just one round units between sprays and the bombers. Or more realistically move to Grim1 as a medium between Gunny and Kolgrima.

In My opinion kolgrimma and grim really work well together as a pair. Grim could work well vs infantry lists and kolgrima could handle armor and shooting. So I would go for kolgrima pod and grim sotn or perhaps even kc
