reivers already deal enough damage on their own with rng 12 pow 10, but also get a +1 to medium sized bases and +2 to large and huge bases. They have combined range for cracking armor, and they also get combined arms and repo from their UA. With Dakar, they actually have an average rat of 6. Considering that the base armor of a heavy armored unit of soldiers is 16 (before shield wall and buffs), you're looking at an average of 50% chance of doing damage even before combining attacks (even higher on larger bases). Take 5 and combine into a heavy jack to end up with a pow 16 (or 17, forget how range combined works) into a max of 20 base armor, dealing at least 3 (or 4) boxes of damage on an average roll.
If you are going to be using Dead eye on anything it'll either be a pack of slingers or a turtle. Tbh, with Dakar, it'd even be more effective to put it on a catapult and aim for lower defensive units. 2 rat + 2 dice = 8 average + 2 aim = 10 average x.O; yay for long distance crowd killing.

Slingers do look like they would be pretty tasty with Jalaam, my only concern would be Jalaam does not want to be casting Deadeye as he has other things demanding his Fury, but you can take Marketh to cast Deadeye so it's all good.

Deadeye works well with reivers because reivers shoot from very far away and can do it with an insane level of accuracy. Slingers with deadeye will hit either a 15 on average of a 16 if the dakar is in range and their threat caps out at 16"
Reivers have a base threat of 18" and on mini feat have 22" (absolutely stellar) and when required a CRA + dakar being nearby + deadeye will grant them RAT 8 with 3 dice and a re-roll if you miss. this means they'll hit def 19 on average instead, they do it from further away, and they repo into safer positions after firing.
They trigger warpath like crazy too and you cant stay out of their threat range like you can with slingers. the extra 6" of threat is insanely good.
Reivers are also not limited by their target. they do well vs living or undead or construct, they can CRA high armor, they can spread their shots vs a horde. Slingers are out of luck vs some things because of their shot types.

I have had less success with the reviers. Their rat 6 with drakar means they need 6 or 7 to hit other infantry and cra is nice but it reduces their offensive output to the point that they don’t matter anymore. Hitting hard targets with them works ok. Being susceptible to stealth hurts them quite a bit and in my meta the terrain is dense enough that their range is mitigated at least a little in every match
I have removed them from my rasheth double SA winds list
I have not played jalaam yet
