I was really caught off guard by the POW change on the croaks. May seem like a small thing but I am super excited. Yo for real. I was so pleased ticking through the changes because pretty much this whole CID is a gift. Then they went a dropped a little cherry on top.

Jaga can pretty reasonably fit in either theme. It will lean towards Blindwater because of volume of attacks with Signs and Portents and because of Shamblers for feat. However, you should not discount WWFF by any stretch. I mean, I think Jaga will do well in just about any list you put her in; Signs & Portents is that kind of a spell. I'm having trouble coming up with something in WWFF that seems as strong as two units of Raiders, though. Do you have any dojo rattling around that might expand my vision?

I'm not convinced by the Blindwater version personally, it just seems like a worse Vlad1 rockets to me. Although the shamblers are definitely her best feat targets. I think overtaking swamp horrors with 4" reach will be big winners with the new Jaga. They will mow infantry pretty well and with rage and S&P can still reliably kill or cripple most heavies. I look forward to seeing actual battle reports in both themes to see if one suits her better than the other. In the meantime, here's a sample WWFF list, for the sake of discussion : conflictchamber.com/#cb201b_-0PjP4cjMjNjNjW2TfIj_bHeMeM4k0V2NMinion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Will Work for Food (Jaga-Jaga 1) Jaga-Jaga, the Death Charmer [+27] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Ironback Spitter [14] - Swamp Horror [15] - Swamp Horror [15] - Gatorman Soul Slave [5] Alten Ashley [0(6)] Bog Trog Mist Speaker [4] Bone Shrine [2] Dahlia Hallyr [17] Efaarit Scouts [0(6)] Efaarit Scouts [0(6)] Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress [4] Farrow Bone Grinders (max) [8] Swamp Gobbers Bellows Crew [2]

So how are people gonna run Double J now? Like so: Most likely the Soul Slave will be Orin until the model is released. I don't find her feat as interesting as what she does for beasts. Minions - Moves like Jaga Theme: Will Work For Food 4 / 4 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army Jaga-Jaga, the Death Charmer - WB: +27 - Gatorman Soul Slave - PC: 0 - Dracodile - PC: 36 (Battlegroup Points Used: 27) - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 - Ironback Spitter - PC: 14 - Ironback Spitter - PC: 14 - Ironback Spitter - PC: 14 - Boneswarm - PC: 7 Swamp Gobber Chef - PC: 1 Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress - PC: 0 Bog Trog Mist Speaker - PC: 0 Bog Trog Mist Speaker - PC: 0

I was contemplating bringing two couldrons with barney 2 and the bokur but thought it was to much support bloat. But seeing as they are now free, (which i didnt expect at all) why not! They are money, pretty happy with the change.

Something not mentioned in the first post: Croak Hunter kept Poison instead of gaining weaken. 6pts for -2STR on 2 enemies would have been AMAZING and I was so hyped for finally having a reason to field him

Consider also, he can potentially be a great finisher model for beasts. Pow 12 poisoned with gang, throw in a debuff like parasite and he is suddenly Pow 15 on beasts with an additional die of damage. Averaging around 8-10 damage on an arm 19 heavy seems legit for a 3 point solo. I do think weaken would have been super coll for minions specifically, but I don't think he is bad by any means at his current cost. Swamp horrors in WWFF are going to WRECK all these random shield-wall infantry spam builds running around. Like Halberds in ret, LoS in Khador, and Temple Guard in Protectorate. 4 initials, ability to pull out of shield-wall or B2b. I am kind of scared of it lol.

Which will help quite a bit too, it at least won't be in most charge ranges after doing a range attack.

I've been waiting for this CID to go live for a while. I think I can officially put my Legion back on the painting table to get them finished while I focus on getting back into minions. Can't say my wallet is too happy about the changes though. XD

Currently kicking the tires on: Jaga-Jaga, WWFF -Wrastler -Spitter -Spitter -Soul Slave Dahlia -Skarath Sacral Vault Kwaak Nyss (max) Bone Grinders (min) I like the beast load, I dislike the 4 Grinders to feed the feat. Jaga-Jaga, Blindwater -Wrastler -Spitter -Spitter -Soul Slave Dahlia -Skarath Kwaak Croak Raiders (max) Croak Raiders (max) Bog Trog Ambushers (min) Keeps the same beast load, adds the Raiders, Ambushers for feat. The Ambushers solve the cost problem I had with the Shamblers--at 10 points the list was 1 point over with the beasts I wanted. Jaga-Jage, Blindwater -Dracodile -Bull Snapper -Soul Slave Wrong Eye -Snapjaw Totem Hunter Feralgiest Croak Raiders (max) Croak Raiders (max) Bokur and Shamblers Probably the weakest, and certainly least thought out of the 3 lists. Core concept is Dracodile allows for the Croaks to hit easily, possibly enabling assassinations. With no Wrastler for Rage, Dahlia comes out and Snapjaw goes in for damage. Shaky, but a concept is there that is worth building on.
