I've been trying to come up with some old witch lists.
Why oh why does she only have 18BG points! There is a juggernauts difference between her and Karchev for crying out loud!

Scrapjack is a 10pt Jack. No way is scrappy worth 10 points. A lancer is 10 point and they are miles apart. Hes worth about 7 at best. Especially as the witches only major arcing spell is Gallows.....

Im comfortable with scrappy being 10 points. He's never disappointed. -amazing system load out -decent defensive stats -arc node + gallows + unseen path?! -unseen path, you have presence on the entire board. He's a huge natural extension -Can safely clear infantry.
I think you're underestimating the possibilities of being able to move 16" and still cast/fight/feat.

To be fair, her WJ points ARE too low.
At 18 that should mean her kit is more powerful than any other caster in the faction.

Hrm, i feel she might be in an odd place. I really dont see them buffing her spell list, possibly a change to the way she gets souls. At the moment i think she has a really strong set of abilities. I would be afraid that a bump in WJ points would cause some nerfs to her as a warcaster.

Given she is one of the least played casters and considered by most to be at the bottom of the barrel for competitive pairings. I think +4 WJ points wouldn't be all that crazy.

I would be ok with that except, i know you cannot directly compare one caster to another but giving her +4 wjp would give her the same wjp as Strakhov2. Do you really think that scrapjack is only as good as Strakhov's AK companions? I would rather them make her feat do magical damage

Or make Gallows not so random. D3+2.
Proxyed OW1 for a WoW list and I failed a gallows pull 2 outta 4 times.
Can't say I did too well that game. Probably 50% list though.

If her feat did either magical damage or affected warnouns in a meaningful way i would be very pleased. But i think that would require nerfs elsewhere.
Gallows is tricky, i don't think you should rely on it for more than an inch of threat, or if you have a second option and gallows is icing on the cake. Making gallows non-random makes it too close/better than telekenisis

A thought i had, you can't really give old witch a damaging spell in her current condition. This would really open the flood gates to a multiple turn assassination. Run scrap jack, cast 1 or two damaging spells at their caster and unseen path, rinse and repeat.

Making gallows non-random makes it too close/better than telekenisis Well Gallows is still a push, so you can't spin the model around. Also, her feat is pretty good against Warnouns, like 99% of them are warrior models and would be knocked down from the damage. Played the the witch tonight! I basically stole the list from here. I eventually lost against the Twins, but it was a pretty good match none the less. A few better rolls and some better positioning and it would have been a different story. But Scrapjack missed 5 7s in a row to start berserk killing Nyss Swordsmen and he gasped 5 he could reach. I was pretty annoyed.

Positioning is probably one of the more important things with her, she is basically paper. Legion also does pretty well vs her, lot's of sprays and ignoring stealth. Not to say I haven't beat my legion friend before. What Warnouns are considered warrior models? Maybe some legion nephalim or troll lights?

"Warnouns" seems to be used sometimes for "warlocks and warcasters", other times for "warlocks warcasters warjacks and warbeasts", which is where I think the current confusion here stems from.

I've only ever used it for describing warcasters and warlocks. So yeah I was confused.
And do you know what makes legion better? The fact that guidance is now friendly model. Thanks a bunch, now Craelix has eyeless bloody sight.
