(I was going to post this in the Dojo thread but I didn't want to derail it. I figured it would be better to start a new one.)
I will admit that in the CID I was going to offer that her spray could just be the regular Frost Hammer now and she didn't need a new spell because she had gained Vanish and access to a node. We just didn't have time to get to it. I played her a fair bit, but not as much toward the end, which is where she gained a lot. Her feat is just for starters.
I have played her a bit since her official release and felt that she is very strong but hard to play well. There is a lot that she can do but unlike the Coven, she very much cannot do it all at once. For example, I once got her killed because I dropped a cloud when it just wasn't enough and Vanish would have kept her out of range better.
IMO, when a caster has a high skill floor like that, they also tend to be a real skill multiplier, specifically because they do have more options in any given situation. This was true of Grim 2, but she doesn't have what is probably his biggest weakness- reliance on two more fragile support models that he must protect.
There is no denying that Kolgrimma is a very strong caster, but we've had strong casters before. Only Madrak 2 ever really proved to be a problem, and that was solved simply enough. In particular, I think that she can serve well as a Cryx drop, depending on builds, and we're going to need that.
So in this thread, let's discuss not only how we might use her and why, but whether that is really a problem for the meta as a whole.
