This is a quick and simple question that may have been asked before but is there a simple way to reformat the cards from Privateer Press card database for two sided printing?

Nope. However, if you tell what faction you play I might have a pdf version of most of the cards in the database where each card is separate.

This seems to be the trend, I hear some people talking about printing them double sided but I can not seem to find the resources to do so. If you did have individual PDFs that would be a huge help as it makes it much easier to reassemble them myself. I play Retribution and Minions.

It's not the most beautiful thing in the world, but I created a script to rearrange the card backs so they are right-side up. You should be able to use the same principles to create images to print double-sided. The script uses GraphicsMagick, and expects a single-page pdf named cardbundle.pdf
#!/bin/sh
dpi=300
gm convert -density $dpi cardbundle.pdf -crop 748x1048+141+1281 -flip -flop card1_back.png gm convert -density $dpi cardbundle.pdf -crop 748x1048+895+1281 -flip -flop card2_back.png gm convert -density $dpi cardbundle.pdf -crop 748x1048+1649+1281 -flip -flop card3_back.png gm convert -density $dpi cardbundle.pdf -crop 748x1048+2403+1281 -flip -flop card4_back.png
gm composite -geometry +141+1281 card1_back.png -density $dpi cardbundle.pdf step1.png gm composite -geometry +895+1281 card2_back.png step1.png step2.png gm composite -geometry +1649+1281 card3_back.png step2.png step3.png gm composite -geometry +2403+1281 card4_back.png step3.png step4.png
gm convert step4.png -density $dpi cardbundle_fixed.pdf
rm card1_back.png card2_back.png card3_back.png card4_back.png step1.png step2.png step3.png step4.png

Thank you very much! It worked like a charm now just to find a printing service that can do the job cheap.

That tool is great. I am strongly leaning towards uncut sheets of cards (in that format) inside of clear page protectors being my rules reference of choice. No cutting needed, so I avoid most of the inconvenience of printing cards, and I can write on the page protectors with dry erase. And being able to see every card face of a warcaster at the same time (especially ones like Haley3) is great.
