Does anyone think it maybe worth it to take a winter troll to give cold immune to caster in SotN? Winter trolls aren't too horrible for the points anymore and the Northkin Elder likes them.

I personally think so, I've used it in every game I've played with the theme so far and have been very happy with it's performance. I like putting it in one of kolgrima's clouds with its animus up as bait, so far it has always ended in stationary units or jacks.

So none have actually get any good use for snowdrifts? I have been placing them at the sides of the board so that I have somewhere to Ambush the Bears into if I want to give them stealth. Also if the opponent has Ambushers then they can be placed so that the ambushing unit is slowed down by them if they are not immune to cold or have pathfinder.

Lanyssa likes to have one on a flag so she can be stealth while controlling, or in a zone so she can do the same for contesting. It's not a major def buff, but if you can stack it on another one (from a warlock, probably), it's pretty good. I also don't see any reason you can't drop them on other terrain, so you could stack it with a hill for +4, which is solid. I rather like the counter-ambush idea, grabsnikk!

Protecting flag controlling solo is actually really good use as place is really static.
