Hey there Gators and Pigs. Legion player here. I often times find myself looking at other faction's stuff and saying "wow thats cool", or "man thats really good!" then looking at my faction's "version" (if you will) and saying ew. I often times nitpick things too, and talk about how bad stuff is etc. etc. However, I got to thinking... There's a saying that the grass is always greener on the other side. More than likely (not all of the time, but probably a lot), I'm looking at tools other people have, wishing I had access to them, and taking for granted things that my faction has that other people may not have.
So, I've decided to get an outside perspective from other players of different factions. What do y'all, as minions players, see in Legion's stable of pieces that make you think "hey I wish I had that"?

Legion has always been a scary faction for me to face up against but it may just be that my local Legion players is one of the better members of my meta but here are some of the things I wish I had. Note these things may not be good in legion but I still wish I had them - Boostable Armor Piecing, This would be absolutely awesome to have. - A theme that allows up to 3 character beasts, I know minions do not have any character beasts but even in my other factions 1 is normally the max. - Forsaken, this is one solo that scares me. I have lost heavies to these guys.
These are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

When I play against legion, the things I worry about/wished we have are -near universal pathfinder or flying on warbeasts. Depending on the caster im playing I can consistently be out threated over terrain. -the seraph. A highly mobile shooting platform that fixes accuracy for your army, can increase the threat range of other models or unjam them with an animus while being... -high defense no knockdown warbeasts. We have one in the form of skarath but that is the only one we have. - the hellmouth for reasons that I think are generally clear. -death stalkers. A solo that is probably only justified at its current price by how expensive most everything else in the faction is. 2 of them at 8 points can dismantle most single woubd units over 2 turns. -superior fury management. For me this is the biggest thing I wish we had. The forsaken can take a lot of a single model and can even do quite a bit of damage after the armies have engaged. Shepards on the other hand are a cheap option to remove one fury and have medicate where you need it. Currently minions options for fury management basically boil down to: feeding our warbeast models we paid for via the chef (at least we are allowed to eat our chef unlike other factions who can take him), smacking our warbeast with bone grinders for inflict pain (need I remind you bone grinders also have dismember...), or risk a threshold test or auto frenzy via primal for fury management. -somewhat more survivable infantry. While armor 11 sucks as far as blast damage goes, being 14/11 is better than 12/14 since its harder for most models to hit def 14 unassisted than it is for most models to break arm 14.

I roflstomp Legion basically every time I run into them, so...
14/13, the Swordsmen statline, would be real nice to have on some pig infantry though. Slipstream would also be nice, but I'm not even going to ask for that. Pigs already out-threaten most Legion lists, don't need to rub salt in the wound. All it would do is create even more scenarios where Arkadius can hit a ranged army in melee before they ever get to shoot.

I second all these points. Though we do have that high def infantry, it's called Nyss Hunters.

I play both pigs and legion.
Legion have infantry support, good infantry, flying and serpentine beasts (which are surprisingly durable), lots of magic attacks and strong scalpeling ability.
Pigs have pure damage, heaps of solo options and an unrestrictive theme.
Currently I'm playing legion as pigs just don't have the list variety.

Hellmouths.
That's about it.
I hate facing them and things like Hellmouths and Butcher3 and the like are reasons I went back to trollbloods this spring. Earth's Blessing was too good not to have in my lists. But then summer came and I went back to minions and learned how to play around the things better and then it worked quite well.
Otherwise Legion doesn't really have anything I want...well...gargantuans but we're getting one soon.
