So this is my first skorne list and first skorne game. I played cryx for a while so I do have some handle on how to play. Anyway, I'm using what I have so not much of a chance to switch things out. I have 2 of each titan, a bronzeback, a soldier, and cyclops shaman, raider, and savage. My basic plan is move up the board with the karax in shield wall, swordsmen behind. I figure it's a pretty good list if a bit beast heavy for x1 and fury management might get tight, but that's about all the problems I can see. What do you all think?
Theme: No Theme Selected 75 / 75 Army

Extoller Soulward - PC: 3 Swamp Gobber Chef - PC: 1
Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 7 Praetorian Karax - Leader & 9 Grunts: 11 - Praetorian Karax Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4 Praetorian Swordsmen - Leader & 9 Grunts: 13 - Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4

That list is definitely solid and will get you into the faction. A few remarks though:
1) The Karax CA. I don't like it. It can be worth it with Xerxis1 if you're not bringing Ferox, because Defender's Ward and Iron Zeal stack up pretty well. Other than that it turns your cheap 11p unit into a significantly less cheap 15p unit.
2) Once you get into list pairings you might want to reconsider Krea+Agonizer. I personally prefer having a Krea in my one list and the Agonizer in the other. It's tempting to put both in, but having 6 or 7 more points of models that do actual work is sometimes the better choice. In the end it comes down to which lists you want to be able to play into and how you want to tackle that matchup.
3) I don't think you'll have Fury issues and I'd even try the list with min Beasthandlers. Not that these two Handlers need to go, but if you ever find yourself lacking 2 points, you could consider dropping them.
4) You'll need to figure out when to Shield Wall with the Karax and when not to. That's however just something that will come with experience.
So, in short, go for it. Get a few games in and refine the list afterwards.

I would think about centratii w/ attachement as your def ward/krea/agonizer target. They can actually screen xerxis, are immune to magic, are def 15 vs shooting and charges, and arm 24 against shooting and melee even before feat.
Couple of sentries and you have some shield guards to protect a few while they walk up the board.

I think that's the huge decision with Xerxis1: "Do I want Cetrati". They're certainly viable with him, but I'm not sure they're auto-include. But that's merely from theory and watching other people play. I have yet to play the guy. There are currently too many interesting casters in Skorne.
Also do consider Ferox. They are amazing in almost every list.

I have ferox, I just need to put them together and swap spear shafts out for brass rods. I would like to try the cetrati out with him, but I'm trying to finish what I have and work on painting a bit before I buy anything else

I like Cetrati with their new no-knockdown Tough, but that's beside the point.
