Yeah, my painting tends to run dark as well...at least it used to. I'm trying to be a bit more contrasting with my stuff now. I think I'm succeeding, but I've got a lot to learn.
I do like the look you have going though. That 'Jack is especially nice. The white accents look good with the blue especially.
The green on the first model's greatcoat looks very military, mind if I ask what color you used for that?

Yeah the stock one is pretty boring...did take some cutting but it was well sorth it ^^
