as a khador player it would be nice to get a doomreaver caster, to give them some bonus since you cant target them. maybe a 3rd version of zerkova with her magic stick AND and a doomreaver sword slowly but surely falling into madness Doom reavers explicitly forbid one from doing magic unfortunately.

What is Butcher1? He gives them free charges and boosted attack rolls, plus Fury. But keeps the problem with all Khador jacks which is why he doesn't see much play - SPD4. Unlike other casters who are good for Khador jacks, he doesn't give a speed boost. It's not easy for Khador jacks to get the charge without a speed buff of some sort (so the free charges is less helpful), and the Berserker chassis is so much less resilient than the Juggernaut one that taking the alpha makes it decidedly less than worthwhile. And it's a shame. I like Butcher1 and I like the Berserker chassis, but at the moment he's better as a ranged caster. Which really isn't how a Butcher should play.

Id like to see a caster inside/riding on a collosal. Not a battle engine caster. No warjacks points( since collosals are 30ish), his jack has no cortex and cannot be allocated focus. Maybe Rahn2 inside a Helios( thematically could be like " the helios' head/cortex were shot out on the battlefield so rahn used his magic to take over the lumbering beast). Maybe feat lets the jack use the casters focus as his own.

Screw colossals, I want to see Deathjack2, Avatar2, or Mulg2 become a caster/lock like Karchev. They clearly have the arcane power and sentience at the very least.

Being a warcaster is more than being sentient though, it's about being able to reach out and connect your mind to mechanika. Deathjack (or more accurately, the Skulls of Hate) are arguably sentient but have never shown any ability to command mechanika other than the warjack that are directly attached to. The Avatar is not sentient at all; it is driven directly by Menoth's will. It appears to act on it's own but that's only because we can't see the person giving it orders, which is Menoth (or a portion of his consciousness maybe). In theory you could make more warjacks that are directly controlled by Menoth but the mechaniks who made the Avatar were divinely inspired and immediately forgot the design and no one has yet been able to understand how it works.
As for Mulg, it's possible in theory that a Dire Troll could become intelligent enough to mentally command other Dire Trolls I suppose but it's never happened.
In "real world" terms, I believe the question of second versions of character jacks and beasts has been brought up at Q&A panels and PP staff have said there are no current plans for it.
