As mentioned above, Company of Iron introduced the concept of the Beast Warden. I suspect that it will make its way into Hordes at some point.
We used to have an ability called Beast Master on the Druids UA. It rarely got much use, but could be a nasty surprise. I wish we had it back - losing that was one of a large number of things that made Druids less interesting to play.
