Has anyone tried Posse with him yet? He has no damage buff for them, but Pathfinder and Prowl are a few of their favorite things right? Sad there's no Task Master, but alas, themes... I haven't tried it yet. I'll consider it but i don't find it hugely impressive. its really nice to give them pathfinder and they can actually trigger prowl themselves which is great. The downside is... they have no other actual synergy with jalaam and can't even trigger warpath. he can't accuracy fix or damage buff them (beyond normal taskmaster buff). i don't think its that great a prospect but i might be surprised by it and i already play jalaam outside of themes currently for molik and chiron

As an aside, I really miss the old Posse. I can't see any reason to take them now outside of Blindwater, and sadly even there they compete with good options. Additionally the meta (at least mine) still isn't putting dude spam on the table, so the thing they do really well isn't needed. Maybe if Gravediggers ever makes it to my neighborhood, but for now they just sit on my shelf looking pretty.

I suppose I was imagining running a unit of Posse off to hold a flank in Imperial Warhost. Lets Jalaam spread out a bit more and squeezes another unit in.

I'm pretty torn where to play him. What you want is: -a ranged unit for deadeye -a beast with Snipe for his gun -a medium to high def unit with good footprint for his feat If you go winds, you don't have a goot frontline Unit If you go MoW you have no Beast with snipe If you go Exalted, you lack a ranged unit So I've made one list each and will be testing them. I think he has a great lot of tools to deal with a lot of different problems and therefore has the potential to be the main caster in a two list setup. (second one will be someone with a damage buff...) I've been toying around with him more and more in IWH and I think he could make a very mean assassination list with that. The combination of Warpath's out of activation movement and the Ardus Sentinels gun look like they could be very devastating combo with a 19" threat range if you also have rush in your list. If you put deadeye on an ardus sentinel since it grants an additional die you can still boast, so rat5 with 4 dice should on average hit dice hit a def 18-19 target and arcing fire means it gonna be hard to hide from. Damage wise with poison and boasting assuming your target is armor 16 your doing 11 damage a shot. Add in Jalaam being able to practically apply grievous wounds at will and you have a pretty deadly combo. Jalaam -Ardus Sentinel -Ardus Sentinel -Titan Cannoneer -Titan Cannoneer -Titan Gladiator -Cyclops Raider -Krea (free) -Krea (free) -Agonizer (free) Paingiver Beast handers (min) Willbreaker Willbreaker Post blindwater CID release I would consider swapping the willbreakers for Bog Trog Mist Speakers if Guidance is changed from friendly faction to friendly. Also the Sentinel's gun is an amazing drop into any hordes army as they will melt beast terrifying quickly.

I'm not sure if it's because they dropped to five boxes (PP's rationale on this one is just wrong. How can Skinwalkers have eight and gators not?), or because of lack of infantry targets. A real shame. They were boss in MKII Skorne.

Lol. I did, I don't even remember making the original lament. Just saw the text and responded without checking the name.
Goes to show I suppose my sincerity on the topic. GMP were awesome.

Pour one out man. My fav Skorne unit in MkII, especially with Chain Gang or Naaresh. Hell, they were pretty dope with Xerxis1 even. But we digress.
