As long as they don't take Throne pikes is the better option against Legion.

I really like Irusk2, and i feel to advice you that a colossal is really not the better option with him. Take 2 juggernaut (or marauders) and one destroyer and it will be way better. Fire for effect on the ranged jacks and energizer works with all the jacks in the battlegroup (but not on colossals). Also, solid ground affects jacks and you can have pathfinder on feat.

Certain builds can have the colossal being pretty handy with Irusk 2 I find. Creeping barrage templates can be pretty handy when you are playing a melee heavy army with little fire support otherwise ...that being said, against the lists he seems to be up against, the Multi-wound infantry would just shrug it off. So I agree with that assessment here! On the other hand, Hark offers some pretty heavy armor that (unless I'm missing something critical) I'm not entirely certain the Kallus list will be able to deal with. Which means that if you're running this as if you were in a two list event, I would guess he's probably more likely to drop Absylonnia 2 into you. She DOES have better armor cracking, but it's concentrated in a few heavies here so Irusk 2 would be a bit better against this list. In Hark's defense, your jacks are cheaper than his beasts, and a well timed Hark Feat would be able to help you absorb either the alpha strike, or the counter strike (depending on how the game goes). So you'd still have good plays to make with the Hark list. In light of all this, I'd probably run Hark into these lists if it were me because he is great into one list, and has a good shot into the other. tl;dr - I suggest Harkevich, but there are reasons to take Irusk 2 Take with a grain of salt however, I am not a big Iron Fang Pikemen fan (Before anyone lynches me - I think they're good, but not really my style )

+1 for Irusk2 list here.
But it should be said that probably the biggest impact on a game is YOUR confidence/experience in playing the list, especially if its close on paper and or in the dojo.
The OP suggests this might be nearly your first game? Are you playing on Deathclock or Timed turns? Steam Roller 2017 scenarios I assume.

Thank you guys for your feedback.
I actually dropped Harkevich and he dropped Kallus. We played Spread the Net and to be honest I lost because I didn't play aggressively enough.
He moved fast and secured his objectives while contesting the round zone and my rectangular zone so he started scoring steadily. By the 4th round our difference was above 5 points so we ended the match.
This week I will be facing a Retribution player and the scenario will be Standoff. This time I am expecting either Thyron with Halberdiers and two Arcantrik force generators or Issyria1 with Mage Hunter Strike Forces and many annoying solos with stealth and high threat ranges.
This time I am thinking to drop Irusk 2 with Conquest and lots of IF pikemen and Uhlans.
All of these games are part of a local league that uses the Steamroller rules and scenarios and hopefully this time I will remember to take some pics and show you my learning progress.
I am a new player and this is my first foray into the game so expect me to lose a lot and win a little (by chance purely:P )

As a faction full of Spd4 jacks, Spread the Net is probably the worst scenario we can play into.
If you go first It takes about 3 turns for your average khador Jack to get to the far zone or to contest that flag.
