With themepocalypse settling, I wanted to start a discussion here about what mercenary solos people are taking in Storm Division lists.
Rhupert is the immediate and obvious choice, and not only for pathfinder. But what others are you putting in your lists? Ragman? Eilish?

Gastone1 with Haley2 is a pretty good pick.
Ragman, of course, is a great choice.
Eiryss1 and Taryn add some new options for assassination.

Yes Rhupert as no 1. Super good for lances and blades.
Ragman as a good no 2. Always good, but may have speed problems keeping up with cavalry or Advanced moved blades.

It depends. If you have a lot of stormknights, which are naturally slow, Rhupert is super unless you have some sort of pathfinder out. Ragman is also super duper. Those are my top choices.

Rhupert is the only choice unless your warcaster is Maddox, and even for her he is still useful if you want to use more than one Storm Knight unit. And because it is Storm Division I think that you should pick at least two Storm Knight units or go non-theme force list.
Only possible thing would be Reinholdt for Caine1, because he has Blur to protect fragile Storm Knights, but I had rather not to choose the theme if I want to use him and Storm Lances.
I was avoid Storm Division and consider it even inferior to non-theme because it lacks Rhupert - I can't use Stormblade Infantry without Rhupert at all, even for Storm Lances his buff is too precious to be discarded, and about 12+ points won't make the gap of lacking Pathfinder/concealment on a plain ground/Tough on a unit per one round. And he is on the theme now. There is no other viable choice enough to forfeit him.
In short, Rhupert all the times or you better avoid Storm Division.

And she also have DEF bubble to keep fragile Stormblades alive too.

As other said, Ruphert will be the best choice in most cases.
If you happen to have some easy sources of Pathfinder, than Ragman could be another option, and maybe Eilish too, but the Pyper will be the most obvious choice usually.

Ragman hands down, best solo in the game.
Also Stormblades still suck balls, just take Lances and be done with it

I'm playing in a team event tomorrow and lists had to be handed in right after the Haley2 nerf. I decided to play Haley3 in Storm Division, a list I hadn't practiced but seemed straight forward enough. The Stormblades still struggle to get to the fight. I've only played it twice, and they do hit like a ton of bricks, but it's a lot of slow guys with a relatively low threat range. A 9" threat is pretty terribad so you really have to rely on their shooting to get the most out of them. But they're still a giant pain in the ass.

He gives them threat extension in feat turn, and fury to do insane damage.

He gives them threat extension in feat turn, and fury to do insane damage. Threat extension is interesting, but he lacks defensive buff to run such a fragile unit(and you will know that the 'threat extension' tool on Brisbane2 is also the only defensive tool and you can't use it by both ways). If it is really worth enough that much for Stormblade Infantry and they don't need more, then Blaize isn't the worst warcaster in the game. I recommend to only use them if you pick either Stryker1, Caine1, Haley3 or Maddox. Perhaps Stryker2 would be an another option, for he can put Deceleration. The problem to using Stormblade Infantry is how to deliver them. Good speed can help that, but at first they are need to be survive against the enemy fire. Their damage output is already insane, and unless you face a colossal or ARM 21+ warjack/beast, deamage buff is usually overkill(such enemies are not so difficult to face, though).

Siege 2 has an interesting list with stormblades. You bring in Anastasia, you go first as much as you can, you advanced move and run forward with your Minifeat and then feat to get into melee early.
It was a fun list, relying on speed to be your armour.
