Rask + Gatorman Soul Slave + Wrassler + Bone Swarm + Bull Snapper
Posse Bokor & Shamblers
Kwaak Slickspine Bone Shrine Void Leech
Seems like a solid set of starter models. Except for the dumb Bone Swarm, everything is useful. And it covers the Wrassler & Posse staples. $210 MSRP.

Nice box, I like it. Would have preferred if it wasn't Rask though, why oh why is it always Rask?

Is this a wish list or has it been announced somewhere officially?

I find this very interesting and I feel like it would be a good solid start, I am confused why they announced it before the CID was over as very easily something could change cost and it would no longer be 50pts before it was even released.
All in all a very good deal, I would buy it if I had the cash to fork out right now.

In the Trencher CID they had said about some model or another that the cost couldn't change because it was in a box set. I am guessing it just hasn't arisen for the Gator ones.

So I threw the list into conflict chamber and using the current rules its actually upwards of 10pts short of being 50. Is that everything? Its actually only a 35 point list if you include the pt drop for shambles from CID and the free Soul Slave from being in Blindwater Theme

If you make it a theme you get one free solo? Does that help?

The other boxes were designed to pair with the battlebox to make a 50pt army. Lacking a battlebox, this is a sensible way for them to help people buy into blindwater.
FWIW I'm pretty positive they've recently changed what models are in this box in order to make the points work. In the initial notes for the crocpot, there was a line about "in Blindwater box at 7 points" that they clearly were not beholden to.

bone swarm should be a whole lot better once the croc pot is also out so lets not dismiss those just yet.
It is a nice box with some solid choices - unfortunately own so much gators now I'm not really going to be able to benefit from it but excellent for a new starter and shows them treating blindwater as a "proper" faction rather then something they used to actively discourage people from starting with in their journeyman advice.

The part I am confused about is the list given in the top post is only a 35pt army where as all the other army boxes were 50. Not really. Theme boxes (Northkin and Trenchers) are 35 pts without a warcaster, and suggest you pair them with a 0-point battlebox to make a fully army. Since Blindwater don't have a battlebox, they just built it in here.

Okay I guess that is the difference, I was seeing this as a minions all in one army box which were 50pts as opposed to one of the theme boxes.

They just dropped the posse cost by 1. Seems likely that was always planned, and they were just waiting to reveal it
