I'm a fan of Deathstroke, so I went that way. But, I think a lot of superhero/villain colour schemes could work for Ret. edit: photo share died. So I switched the hosting site around flic.kr/p/FvznP6flic.kr/p/2461LeN

I think that jade green (with white marbling, and gloss varnish) would look cool.

I would love a protoss style scheme for retribution: I think I have found my inspiration for my Retribution. Thanks Trollock. I've been looking for a new theme and this shouldn't be too difficult with rustoleum metallic spray paints. Prime coat dark brown or black Mid coat antique bronze Top coat pure gold The rest would be brushwork: highlights, blue glow effects, and faces. I now have a spring project, woohoo!

I really want to see pics of this. Please share some when you have tried it out

Went to get the metallic sprays from rust-oleum and the antique brass was MIA. So I got a darker gold, called rose gold, and a brighter gold for the top coat. Hopefully the idea will still work. I guess we will see, I just need to decide what my experimental model will be...
EDIT: I've decided to try a chimera 1st, to get a grasp of the techniques. Then I'm going to try out my naked Moros for the more details and extra glow.

Quick update:
I have not forgotten, but rather waiting for mother nature to quit being like the Old Witch she can be. I probably should setup a spray booth now that I think about it. Ohio spring weather not good for primer spraying...

Ohio spring weather not good for primer spraying... It is a lovely winter we're getting this spring isn't it? (just one state over from OH, so basically the exact same weather patterns)

Finally have a few examples. I must say I'm happy how they turned out. But, how do I share them on these forums?

Image upload site like tinypic.com or imgur. Then use the code img (in brackets) then the url for the pic then finish with /img (also in brackets).
