I love the models and I want to find an excuse to paint them after sooo many years.

What do you expect Blythe and Bull to do? Can they do it? Point changes alter nothing from this perspective. However, it can change their desirability for people to start playing with them to find out what they are wanting them to do. Just necro'ing this, because I've played them with Gastone2 (on the basis of "Hey, a 5pt unit would get me a fourth free solo, and I've got four Eliminators already."), and they've been fairly effective, finishing off an assassination and holding a Gatorman Posse at bay & finishing a Blind Walker. I think their selling point is that they're the cheapest unit with Prey. I really struggle with Idrians, because so often the Preyed unit will simply hang back / relocate while something else engages the Idrians, or the opponent will do the "leave one guy in the deployment zone" trick, meaning it feels like they struggle to earn their points. With B&B, they're so cheap that if I prey something that doesn't like a potential three RAT 8 / POW 14 shots and it hangs back from the fight to stay out of their threat, that's still a net gain.

I like to use them in Llaelese Resistance because I'm not feeling bad when they die. Bull bites the dust after charging into the Prey unit and killing two of them. For the rest of the game Blythe can hide in cover, preferably out of LoS and score points.

After my earlier dismissal, I painted them up (a proven way to improve the performance of any model) and played them at Captaincon and a recent scramble. The list itself isn't great but I find that having a 2 man cheap unit has helped me score a surprising number of zones. When eliminators aren't an option, they are pretty darn good, and I'm starting to think I might even want to go 1 and 1.

We have so many cheap 2-man units that it's not hard to get these advantages over the other factions out there. The best part is that all of them are now useful. B&B are wonderful in the fact they can RFP models and are available in 2 of our best themes. They aren't hard to want to include anymore.
