No warjacks without ranged weapons in SotT means no Kraye.

Per Pagani on the Cygnar FB page, SotT is supposed to allow both Squire and jacks without ranged weapons. There was a mix up and they are fixing it.

Storm Division:
Maddox 30* -Ironclad 12 -Stormclad 18 -Squire 0 Junior 0 -Firefly 8 Stormblades 10 -CA 5 -WA 6 Storm Lances 20 Devil Dogs 18 -Murdoch 4 Rhupert 4
Finally. Made this list in the long-ago days before themes. Now, I can use the Dogs. It's not even that good of a lost. But being able to use it is good.

Still, I would have liked to see the last benefit changed. It's useful only for Caine1 and there were some good suggestions around. - The Heavy Metal nerf doesn't change much honestly (the 4th solo was often quite useless in most cases), but I don't like how they managed it. Heavy Metal is for sure our best theme atm, but it's not that strong compared to other jacks/beast themes on the benefits side. I think that after the Lances and Haley2 nerf, it wasn't necessary to tone down HM (again, I don't think it's a big deal, but the time is off. If PP had to nerf HM, should have done it months ago when it was clearly dominating, not now when almost everyone has a great BG theme). I also don't like that they have putted Precursors in HM. They don't fit, and they would be played only with Constance anyway, that is not a jack caster at all. They would have made much more sense in Storm Division, since in the fluff there is often a small company of Precursors with the Stormknight to do the holy duties and to bury corpses. - I also don't like how they did put Acosta out of the list of allowed models in Storm Division. It was pointed out when they talked about it in CID, but they ignored it and done so anyway. It's useless to have it FF, if he has to compete with Ragman or the Pyper for the only solo slot. Noone will play it. At that point, it was better before (into the list but not FF). In general, as usual to me seems that the devs have done a lazy work with this update, making pretty silly mistakes.

The way warroom is currently implementing him is that he doesn't count towards the merc solo slot.

All seems sloppy to me. Several nerfs and they left cryx unchanged.
A merc solo in heavy metal would have been sweet.
All cygnar themes seems a litte underwhelming compared to several of the other factions now

i can't do anything but lol when I see cryxian themes untouched and ours bashed, again. We have been hit with nothing but nerfs, and cryx had nothing but buffs, it looks stupid.

Granted cryx was basically unplayable competitively the whole first year while cygnar was arguably one of the best factions in the game. Really the only faction worse then cryx at the start of mk3 was skorne. Although I may be less worried about ghost fleet as I'm focusing on skorne right now and they have a ton of great answers to cryx.

That said, they could have done one less sleeping pic and one more re-read of the PDF... They waited since the last possible minute to release it, and it's full of errors I noticed right away while reading it for the first time...

I can tell you as a (video) game designer myself you are too tilted by your deadline to actually catch anything but the most grievous errors, and even then you get game breaking bugs still slip past.

I'm also a software tester as job, and I also control release documents when new versions are delivered. If I let slip things much smaller than these, I get a long and big scolding at work.

Being outside looking in (I don't play Cygnar, but I play against them a lot), Sons of the Tempest looks too restrictive. I'd actually like to play against the final version.
