Same here as well. Fairly irritated by that (and the fact they are selling the issue with the model at least in one on-line store). I frequent my two LGS frequently. Buying NQP is a way of supporting them. I usually drop by the day it drops to pick up my copy. I decided to go mail because of the model. Now I am not supporting my retailer, I am late to get my issue (better be here today) and I could have gotten the model by buying.
Poor form PP. They really need to empower marketing a bit more at that organization to get out a consistent and coherent MARKETING message
(so for example, themes. If you can't drop them thursday/friday don't promise that.)

I subscribed. got mine on Monday or Tuesday. Don't remember which.
Not sure how they distribute prime, but I do live about 10 miles from PP HQ. Not sure if that makes for a shorter trip/earlier arrival time.

I subscribed and according to the PP store, my copy has yet to even ship. It's vexing but at least I'm not alone.

Yep my account says that it has not shipped even through the store I go to already got it. Really paying for the subscription does not seem worth it at all.

Every issue of NQP, included the ones that your LGS will sell, have Eilish inside.

I could have SWORN there was a marketing message that said that but I would have to dig through old web pages and I am way too bored to do that. Oh well, teaches me - no NPQ subscription renewal.

You are probably thinking of minicrate where the VIP subscribers get an extra model

I subscribed, in Belgium, and got my copy on Friday or Saturday (didn't check the mail on Friday), my friend who lives a few kilometers away got his on Monday, so it seems a bit random. Though that's only 1 business day apart, which is probably to be attributed to the postal service.

I received mine yesterday, but man, it was in really bad shape. There were a few pages printed too large that PP just seems to have folded back into the magazine, and the whole issue was pretty crinkled. Hopefully this isn't how all the issues will arrive!

I got mine yesterday as well. It's obvious that shipping was.... rough. Slightly bent (nothing to really complain about), cracked spine, and the plastic wrapper had been through hell (glad it was there). Haven't seen the page-too-big issue that Asmoridin mentioned, so hopefully that's a one-time problem.
So that aside, I'm very happy with the issue. The story "catchup" is quite good so far and I really enjoy the addition of maps to help plot the war. Painting guides and CID summary are pretty nice, even if I don't play Cygnar. Fluff entries about Trencher gear was excellent, though I'm a sucker for such things. I'd also completely forgotten about the free model, so that was a nice surprise. Haven't checked its quality yet. Definitely anxious to see what they do with the Cryx edition.

Came yesterday. Strange packaging. In a padded yellow envelop. Had no idea it was NQP.
Content EXCELLENT! Company of Iron stuff hard to follow prior to getting the game (yeah!). Historical fluff fantastic. 5 step painting good. Ditto terrain ideas. Narrative scenario looks great.
I like the idea that we have shifted the editorial content. Fluff from cons, I guess, is fun not not worth it for me to read. This, however, was WELL worth the price.

UPDATE I did receive mine yesterday. Similar situation as a few other people great magazine, not the best condition. Cracked spine and bent a little.

Always thought it was a lot more expensive... Maybe I'll subscribe after all.
